Planet Ink Studios and Wreck MMA are proud to announce a change in the co-main event of Wreck MMA: Fights for the Troops. Replacing Guillaume De Lorenzi, is one of Ottawa’s favourite fighters, Nabil ‘The Thrill’ Khatib who will now be facing Mark ‘Boots’ Holst.

Both men are immensely popular in the Ottawa/Gatineau region and fans will be excited about a fight no one believed was possible; but will be in awe that it is happening. Fight fans will have the difficult decision on who to cheer for, but they will all be in agreement that this fight will be non-stop action from start to finish.

The fight will be contested in the welterweight division as Holst moves up in weight to take this huge challenge. Khatib is considered one of the top welterweights in the country and Holst is considered a budding superstar at lightweight. On this night, two fighters that respect each other cross paths in the Wreck ring and will leave everything on the line to please their hometown fans.

This is the biggest fight ever in the Ottawa region and the only place you can see it is at Wreck MMA: Fights for the Troops on December 12th at the Robert Guertin Arena!!
