Wild and crazy Jason "Mayhem'' Miller was one of the Strikeforce fighters who participated in a free open public workout Wednesday at Ed Clay's Nashville MMA gym in Nashville, Tenn. The colorful Miller will face Tim Stout of Newnan, Georgia, Saturday at STRIKEFORCE: Nashville at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Gilbert Melendez, of San Francisco, Calif., shown working out and meeting with several TV crews, will defend his STRIKEFORCE world lightweight title against his DREAM counterpart and Japanese superstar, Shinya Aoki, in one of the three STRIKEFORCE world title fights Saturday at Bridgestone on The CBS Television Network (9 p.m. ET/PT).

In Saturday's main event on CBS, legendary MMA superstar and two-time Olympic wrestler Dan Henderson (25-7), of Temecula, Calif., will make his STRIKEFORCE debut when he challenges Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt Jake Shields, the STRIKEFORCE World Middleweight Champion (24-4-1) of San Francisco, who has won 13 in-a-row and is unbeaten since December 2004.

Enormously talented Gegard “The Dreamcatcher’’ Mousasi of Armenia, will put a 15-fight winning streak and his STRIKEFORCE World Light Heavyweight crown on the line against one of the most confident, fastest-rising fighters in the world, undefeated King Mo of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Former University of Tennessee football player Ovince Saint Preux (right) hits the pads during his portion of the workout. He takes on Chris Hawk Saturday.
What do you expect? The comedian is dead.
