Fight Summit MMA Business Conference Announces UFC Executive Mike Mersch as Speaker and Monster Energy Drink as Sponsor
Mike Mersch, VP of Business and Legal Affairs for the UFC, will be speaking at the second annual Fight Summit held at The Rio Hotel in Las Vegas December 1st and 2nd
Fight Summit is proud to announce the addition of Monster Energy Drink, as the official energy drink sponsor. Monster joins a host of other major sponsors such as Triumph United and Zebra Mats, and joins a growing list of exhibitors targeting the business insiders of the mixed martial arts community.
The second annual Fight Summit will be held at The Rio Hotel in Las Vegas December 1st and 2nd, the day after the World MMA Awards November 30th (also in Las Vegas). This is a must attend event for anyone currently operating in the MMA industry, or anyone hoping to break into the business of MMA. Fight Summit offers over 25 confirmed speakers/business workshops, a 2-day business-to-business expo, with over 50 confirmed exhibitors, for MMA companies to learn, network and grow their businesses. Fight Summit is truly the only event of its kind with a focus strictly on the business side of MMA. The event has virtually every key MMA business category represented, making it something that anyone in the industry should not miss.
The 1st annual Fight Summit held in December 2010 at the Flamingo in Las Vegas was a huge success and provided many companies with new connections and competitive advantages within the market. Mark Pavelich, president of Maximum Fighting Championship stated, “I believe there’s a huge importance of attending Fight Summit if you’re looking to be a part of the MMA business world in any way. I truly believe this is a once in a lifetime experience to have all these experts in every field at your disposal. Fight Summit is an unbelievable experience.”
This years event is already shaping up to be bigger and better than the first. Michael Mersch, VP, Business & Legal affairs and assistant general counsel for the Ultimate Fighting Championships, will host a powerful seminar on the opening show day. Mersch joins a list of over twenty other renowned MMA insiders discussing their trade secrets, in an effort to educate the MMA business world and share the keys to their success - including representatives from Triumph United, Jaco Clothing, Bad Boy, Maximum Fighting Championships, Bellator Fighting Championships, and Do Or Die, as well as famed MMA trainers Greg Jackson and Jonathan Chaimberg, MMA agents Ken Pavia and Ed Soares, and highly touted sports psychologist Brian Cain, among others. In addition to this growing list of speakers, the business-to-business expo promises to include industry leaders, new up-and-coming players, and everyone else in-between. A gathering of many top-level experts and companies is unprecedented, and it is a priceless opportunity for anyone interested in the booming business of MMA.
Fight Summit has also brought on Hans Molenkamp of Triumph United as Strategic Brand Director to the event. "Hans has been a supporter of our event from day one, and has been a valuable asset to our team," explains Fight Summit creator Mike Hauben. "It was a no-brainer to officially bring him on as part of the team, and we couldn't have found someone better to be helping us with the event".
This unique event only happens once a year, offering incredible education and networking opportunities that are unmatched anywhere else in the world. Fight Summit in December promises to be a highly rare and valuable opportunity for anyone operating a business in the mixed martial arts industry. Early bird attendee registration ends soon and the expo is nearly sold out, so act quickly to save money on your tickets or to reserve your booth space!
