Battle of the Badges III: FDNY vs. New England

Postby keithlewis » Wed Mar 16, 2011 11:10 pm

Battle of the Badges III will take place at The Castle in Boston on April 30, 2011

This event highlights heroes facing off against each other in competition for a phenomenal cause. Local charities benefit from the proceeds, and the civil service sector of society is highlighted as a main focus of the event. The New York Fire Department's boxing team has a rich history and travels as far as Ireland for competitive shows. Coach Bobby McGuire is a true class act who prepares his fighters for battle and matches them up well for spirited competition. This year his team will face a tough crop of Massachusetts-based opponents from the ranks of firefighters, policemen, and corrections officers. Also, both men and women civil servants will face each other in the ring for this spectacular event.
