Cory Tait Vacates the Featherweight title, Katz Vs Grimshaw is on.
Cory Tait confirmed last night with UCMMA promoter Dave O’Donnell that he is to relinquish his Featherweight title and continue his journey towards the Bantamweight title.
UCMMA are proud to announce that February's bout between Brendon Katz and Ashleigh Grimshaw at UCMMA 26 will be for the newly vacant featherweight title.
Brendon who holds an impressive record of 7-1 will fly over from South Africa to take on the brawling brit, Ashleigh Grimshaw.
Grimshaw said how delighted he was to be fighting for Dave O’Donnell again and now finding out it’s for a title makes it even better, Christmas has came early for me this year.
Dave O’Donnell: “As always I am excited to put on another title fight with 2 outstanding fighters, both guys have promised to take on anyone and that’s the kind of fighters I love, make the best man win.”
This fight is set to let of fireworks as the stand up of Grimshaw meets the ground game of Katz, who will get the title at the end of the night? Who knows.
