XFC 24: Collision Course - Results and Recap
"XFC 24: Collision Course" took place Friday June 14th, 2013 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. In the main event Scott "Hotsauce" Holtzman faced off with John Mahlow for the XFC lightweight title and came out victorious. Mahlow was the XFC's very first 155 pound champion several years ago and hoped to reclaim his former glory, but standing in his way was Knoxville, Tennessee's Holtzman who now remains undefeated in his pro MMA career at 5-0 in the XFC cage. In the co-main event, Florida's Reggie "The Regulator" Pena faced North Carolina's Ricky "The Sniper" Rainey in a middleweight bout that produced one of the best KO's of the evening.
The dangerous 65-fight veteran Luis "Sapo" Santos added his 57th win as he beat Washington's Dave "Insane" Courchaine in just 10 seconds of the opening round to become the top contender for the welterweight title. In the featured women's MMA bout, Arizona's Cortney "Cast Iron" Casey entered the pro ranks in a flyweight match-up against Michigan's Kelly Warren and came out with the win. All this and much much more.
