Murrie vs. Edwards Set for British Title at BAMMA 15

Europe's flagship Mixed Martial Arts promotion, BAMMA, is proud to announce a British Welterweight title fight to the BAMMA 15 card, as Leon 'Rocky' Edwards challenges reigning champion, Wayne Murrie. BAMMA 15 takes place at the Copper Box in London's Olympic Park on 5th April.

Fighting out of Doncaster's Ludus Magnus, Wayne 'The Caveman' Murrie boasts a record of 17-5-1 and the BAMMA British Welterweight belt. BAMMA 13 saw Murrie win the championship against Michael Johnson via Rear Naked Choke in just 3:23, gaining him his 13th 1st round victory. 59% of his wins have come via Submission and 29% by TKO/ KO, while Murrie has also proved he can go the distance against some of the best. Murrie comes from decorated Thai-boxing background.

Rising talent Leon 'Rocky' Edwards has never been beaten. With a professional MMA record of 5-1-0 achieved since 2011 and an Amateur record of 7-0-0, Edwards' sole loss came via disqualification for an illegal knee. Edwards debuted at BAMMA for BAMMA 11 with a victory over Jonathan Bilton via TKO, just 1:11 in to round 2. He then clinched a Submission win at BAMMA 13 when he defeated Adam Bousif via Arm-Triangle choke. Edwards returned for BAMMA 14 where he notably devastated striker Wendle Lewis at 1:20 into the 1st round. With a 60% KO/TKO victory rate, Rocky Edwards has been cited among British talent to watch in 2014 by Fighters Only magazine. Edwards fights out of Birmingham's UTC.

De-Vant vs. McLeman Set for British Title Fight at BAMMA 15

Europe's flagship Mixed Martial Arts promotion, BAMMA, is proud to announce a BAMMA Lonsdale British Middleweight title fight to the BAMMA 15 card, as Harry McLeman prepares to face Andy De-Vent. BAMMA 15 takes place at the Copper Box in London's Olympic Park on 5th April. Tickets are on sale from £25 at http://www.kililive.com/artists/Bamma

Andy 'Lion Paw' De-Vent holds a 10-8-0 professional MMA record, scored against solid competition since 2010. The 35 year old is now on a 4 fight winning streak and is undefeated at Middleweight (7-0-0). De-Vent's last outing earned him a first round TKO victory over Andrew Punshon and the Pro British Middleweight title at Made 4 the Cage. Another recent victory came against De-Vent's long time nemesis, Avi Jack, in a rematch rectifying an earlier career loss. Originally coming from a Thai boxing background, De-Vent now trains at his own Lions Paw MMA in Manchester. 40% of De-Vent's wins have been attained by KO/ TKO and 40% via Submission. Harry 'Mad Mac' McLeman holds a professional record of 6-2-0, following his latest performance against Matt Howard at BAMMA 14 where he won on the judges' score cards. Duquesnoy vs. Violet Added to BAMMA 15

Europe's flagship Mixed Martial Arts promotion is bringing a world title fight to the BAMMA 15 card as Tom Duquesnoy faces Teddy Violet in a battle for the BAMMA World Featherweight crown. BAMMA 15 takes place at the Copper Box in London's Olympic Park on 5th April. Tickets are on sale from £25 at http://www.kililive.com/artists/Bamma

BAMMA is also proud to announce that Tom Duquesnoy has signed to an exclusive four fight deal with BAMMA. Tom 'Fire Kid' Duquesnoy fights out of European Top Team in France and has fought across Europe. He now holds a record of 8-1-0, following his crushing defeat of James Saville via TKO at BAMMA 14. Duquesnoy, has finished two of his opponents within 36 seconds of the very first round, and has only seen the 3rd round once in his career so far.

At just 20 years old and known already for his devastating speed and aggression, Duquesnoy made his mark in the UK when he beat previously undefeated Scott Hunt via TKO in 34 seconds at Killacam. On scoring victory against Saville, Duquesnoy wasted no time in announcing that he had his sights set upon the BAMMA Featherweight title.

Fellow Frenchman, Teddy Violet fights out of Haute Tension and remains undefeated with a professional MMA record of 8-0. Violet has dominated all opposition on home promotion, '100% Fight'. The majority of his wins have come by chokes and 7 of his 8 fights have not made the 3rd round.

BAMMA's matchmaker, Jude Samuel said:

"Both fighters have a claim to the top ranking slot in their division: Besides crowning the BAMMA World Featherweight champion, this BAMMA 15 fight will also determine who is France's number 1 Featherweight."

A further change to the BAMMA 15 card takes place as Josh Bangert has been forced to withdraw injured from his opening preliminary match against Mo Lasladj.
