CES MMA Debuts on AXS TV in August

CES MMA, the East Coast's premier MMA organization, airs live for the first time on AXS TV FIGHTS with "CES MMA XXV" on Aug. 8 at 9pE/6pP from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. AXS TV FIGHTS broke the story last Friday on INSIDE MMA, the network's long-running, weekly mixed martial arts talk show.

"CES MMA XXV" boasts a stacked fight card featuring the return of the America Top Team undefeated featherweight Charles Rosa versus Nick Gonzalez, the 2013 Fight of the Year Bazzie Award nominee. The line-up also includes lightweight fighter Josh LaBerge and bantamweight fighter Tateki Matsuda.

AXS TV FIGHTS commentators, five-time MMA world champion Pat Miletich and award-winning sports journalist and renowned commentator "The Voice" Michael Schiavello, are cage side to call the night's action, providing live play-by-play and color commentary throughout the event.

"Through our partnership with AXS TV FIGHTS, we are able to continue our strategic expansion as we make our live television debut," said CES MMA vice president Jimmy Burchfield Jr. "As the network's East Coast MMA representative, our alliance provides us the opportunity to showcase and develop some of the most exciting fighters in the area."

CES MMA has guided the careers of many fighters in their journey to achieve the next level, including John "Doomsday" Howard, who, when released from the UFC, went on a five fight KO streak under the direction of CES MMA before re-signing with the UFC in August 2013; Rob Font, the CES MMA featherweight champ, who was 6-0 in the CES cage when he was called up to debut at UFC 175 this July; and Brennan "The Irish Bad Boy" Ward, who went 3-0 in the CES cage before inking a Bellator contract and finding success in the Bellator middleweight tournament.
