Finalized Fight Card for BAMMA 14

Europe's flagship Mixed Martial Arts promotion, BAMMA, hits Birmingham's LG Arena for its Christmas event on 14th December to present a stunning night of fights to round off the year. BAMMA 14 airs live from the on 14th December. BAMMA MD Ashley Bothwell said: "BAMMA is the platform where some of the very best fighters get to show their skills. To compete at this level requires proficiency, complete dedication and passion for your art. December 14th is the coming together of months of preparation for the fighters where all the hard work and sacrifice comes down to a few explosive, intense minutes. Prepare to be blown away by the drama and excitement that BAMMA never fails to deliver'.

The BAMMA 14 main card is to feature the following fights:

PAUL 'SEMTEX' DALEY VS ROMARIO 'JUNIOR KILLER' SILVA

Paul 'Semtex' Daley (33-13-2) is among the world's most exciting fighters, notorious for his explosive knock out power. First competing professionally in 2003 and founder of the legendary Rough House, the Nottingham bad boy has never failed to entertain and draws unrivalled international interest wherever he fights. Signed exclusively to BAMMA in the UK and representing his own Spirit Dojo, Daley is set to face Brazilian, Romario Manoel da Silva aka "Junior Killer" (23 –11-1) who fights out of the world famous Blackzilians. A tough challenge for Daley, da Silva is looking to leverage his experience against one of the sport's biggest stars to escalate his name on a global platform.

Daley said: "It's in my nature to test myself, my training and my faith. I'm confident I will destroy him, so he will see what it's like to be locked in the cage with the finishing machine."

MANSOUR BARNAOUI VS COLIN FREAKSHOW FLETCHER FOR THE BAMMA WORLD LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE

Touted as one of the world's hottest upcomers in the Lightweight division, Mansour 'Tarzan' Barnaoui fights out of Team Magnum in Paris, with a current record of 10 -2-0 and his two losses via decision. The French Tunisian stunned at BAMMA 13 when he stopped Curt Warburton via TKO just 4:08 into round 1 to earn the BAMMA World Lightweight crown. The new champion wasted no time in calling out BAMMA's exclusively signed Colin Fletcher to challenge him for the title. Sunderland's Colin 'Freakshow' Fletcher (9-3-0) recently returned to BAMMA from the UFC following a stint in the TV show contest, 'The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes' and had 2 fights with the promotion. Fletcher is best known for his 'evil clown' walk-outs and aggressive, unorthodox style.

Fletcher said: "Although I respect him as a fighter, I don't think much of him personally: By calling me out straight after winning a world title shows that he doesn't see himself as a true champion. Fans can expect an angry Freakshow. He's annoyed me so I'll be training harder than ever."

MAX NUNES VS ION PASCU

Max 'Power' Nunes returns from his first career loss against Jason Jones for the BAMMA World Light Heavyweight title at BAMMA 13, and drops to Middleweight to create a devastating proposition for the division. Previously undefeated with a record of 11-0-0 and with his first 8 victories scored in the 1st round, Nunes created waves early in his career. The Swede's BAMMA 13 defeat at the hands of Jones was considered by many to be a major upset; and Nunes cuts weight for the first time for this fight. Romanian, Ion Pascu, is known for his lethal knock outs and 50% of his MMA victories have been scored by TKO. Pascu is now on a three fight winning streak and scored a shock 1st round knock out of former BAMMA Lonsdale British champion, Jack Marshman, at BAMMA 13.

Nunes said: "I always intended to fight at Middleweight as I am not a big Light Heavyweight and previously have always fought at my walk around weight. I have a lot to prove: I want the chance to showcase what I can really do."

JUDO JIMMY WALLHEAD VS FLORENT BETORANGAL

'Judo' Jimmy Wallhead (24-8-0), "the people's champion", has been active professionally since 2005 and debuted at BAMMA in 2011, where he defeated legend Frank Trigg. Following a knock out demolition of Villasenor at BAMMA 8, Wallhead returned under an exclusive UK multi-fight deal, to defeat former UFC contender Matt Veach at BAMMA 12 earlier this year. His shot for the BAMMA World Welterweight title was thwarted at BAMMA 13 by US veteran Eddie Ellis, in a controversial judges' decision. At 30 years Florent Betorangal is one year older than his opponent and debuted professionally in 2007. With a background in Taekwondo and training out of Parabellum Combat Club in Paris, Betorangal has scored a 14-7-0 record over his career with the lion's share of his conquests via Submission.

Wallhead said: "I'm looking forward to the fight. I'm focusing hard on fixing my mistakes. I think the opponent has very good style and is coming off a big win. My goals are to keep improving and to put on a better performance next time."

The untelevised preliminaries also feature the BAMMA Lonsdale British Welterweight title championship between Michael Johnson and Wayne Murrie at Welterweight.
