King of the Cage Back in Las Vegas for 'Future Legends 16'


On Saturday, August 31, King of the Cage returns to the Eastside Cannery Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. Future Legends 16 will be a show worth remembering. The girls will take center stage where Rachel Smith of Portage, Michigan, fighting for Team Defend, will be putting her for win one loss record on the line against Danielle Taylor, who is undefeated in four fights. Danielle hails from Palmdale, California fighting for So Cal Fight Factory. These girls will be fighting for the King of the Cage 115 pound World Championship Belt.

The co-main event will feature Las Vegas fighter Christian Cardona of Palmdale, California, fighting for Torres MMA against Saad Ui-Hassan, also from Palmdale, California and fighting for Team So Cal Fight Factory. They will be battling in the 155 pound lightweight division. Both of these guys are top competitors and plan on finishing the fight in the middle of the cage.

Many competitors on this show have never had a loss on the record and another fight on the card will feature Sean Simcik (3-0), of 29 Palms, California, representing 29 Palms Fight Club, who is also an active duty Marine, taking on the son of legendary fighter Juan Torres, JJ Torres (4-0), of Las Vegas Nevada and fighting for Team Torres MMA. They will be fighting in the170 lb. weight class.
