Cage Warriors Signs Matt Inman to New Five-Fight Deal
CAGE WARRIORS welterweight Matt Inman (12-5) has signed a new five-fight contract, which will commit him exclusively to the promotion for the next 18 months. Following Inman's four bouts under the CWFC banner this year, both parties have agreed to an extension of his contract, which supersedes the five-fight deal signed back in January. The 27-year-old, who's set to have one more outing before the end of 2013, is currently on a three-fight win-streak which has seen him rise from 19th to 10th in the UK's welterweight rankings.
"I'm very happy to have signed a new deal with Cage Warriors," said Inman, who fights out of the SBG camp in Manchester, England.
"I feel to date I've been in some exciting fights, as well as growing as a fighter. Hopefully this new deal will give me the opportunity to keep moving forward and be involved in more good fights."
With all 12 of his victories thus far coming inside the distance, Inman's most recent triumph came last month at Cage Warriors 58 in Chechnya when he stopped Bagautdin Sharaputdinov by second-round KO, which was preceded by impressive wins against Mohsen Bahari and Leon Kenge.
Cage Warriors matchmaker [[Ian Dean] said: "I've been really impressed by how Matt has turned things around this year with three impressive victories and I'm delighted he's committed to another five fights with us. I think he has the ability to be a title contender in one of our most stacked divisions."
