Vinny Magalhaes vs. Jason Brilz to Headline Titan FC 28 in Kansas City

Titan FC has decided to return to Memorial Hall, the home of the majority of Titan FC’s previous 27 events, for Titan FC 28 on Friday, April 25. A light heavyweight bout featuring Vinny Magalhaes and Jason Brilz will occupy the main event slot.

“After witnessing firsthand the tremendous support and admiration the Kansas City area fans have for Titan FC and our roster of talented fighters we have decided to return to Memorial Hall for Titan FC 28, “ CEO Jeff Aronson said. “Titan FC has built a strong fan base in the area and we felt it was only natural for us to return.”

Titan FC 27 marked the first event under Aronson’s leadership as well as the first of eights cards that will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.

Titan FC 28 will have Daniel Roberts vs. Brock Jardine in a lightweight tilt, Ricky Legere vs. Todd Moore in a battle of welterweights, and a heavyweight showdown featuring D.J. Linderman and Dave Herman.

Light Heavyweight TUF 8 finalist and M-1 standout Vinny “Pezao” Magalhaes (10-7) will be going toe to toe with Jason Brilz (21-5) who has performed under the lights of the UFC seven times.

Former UFC welterweight Brock Jardine (9-3) faces Daniel “Ninja” Roberts (14-5) who also has been on the “big show” of the UFC 7 times.

Ricky Legere (18-4), a former King of the Cage welterweight staple who is riding an 8-fight win streak that includes only one victory not in the form of a stoppage, takes on former WEC, Strikeforce, and Legacy vet Todd “Maniac” Moore (16-5).

The next bout pits the 240 pound Bellator and WSOF vet D.J. Linderman (15-7) against former UFC and Bellator competitor Dave “Pee-Wee” Herman (21-6) who has only one victory coming by decision in his career.
