Capping off a busy weekend which included the debut of HDNet Fights, as well as events from DEEP, MARS, Gladiator Challenge, and King of the Cage; Pancrase's Rising 8 has come to a close. The main event was originally scheduled to feature heavyweight King of Pancrase Assuerio Silva against Kestutis Arbocius, but Arbocius never showed up to Tokyo. Instead, Yuki Kondo and Yuji Sakuragi stepped up to headline.
