i couldn't watch it live but i just caught the repeats and all i can say is;

@Silva vs Page
well i always loved Wandy because of his wild style, finishing fight via KO was/is his prime/only goal in fight BUT if you go into the fight with this "strategy" then you have to have more then just savage Muay Thai stile. His technical background is very poor - don't get me wrong he knows how to kick and hit but "they" are results of years and years of practice - , his hands are down while (going to) attack, his not long gone KO's also leaves some damage for sure, game plan of his is open book . So when you sums up all those things and when you add the fact that your opponent isn't afraid of you (if i look back in Pride times many of those defeated/KO-ed fighters were scared of The Axe Murderer and were only looked for escaping closer encounter rather then trying to punch "aggressor" back) then all you have to do is wait for his raid, step aside (or back) and buuuum...........sorry Axe but you're so predictable - IT'S TO KO OR TO BE KO-ed

@Mir vs Nogueira
don't hang me for this but i think Rodrigo should retire. He received way to many punches into his head during his (rich) career and eventually he would have to pay for it (IN THE BAD WAY IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). Hats down he's one of the greatest HW's out there but man should know when to stop fighting. I mean he should live pretty easy life after it but with his(potentially) damage(s) - i don't know man. What Mir's considers i'm just glad he'll have the chance to be champ again (just hold on first wave man)

@ Griffin vs Evans
it was a great fight. I must admit that i never "lay" my eye on Evans as i thought he's not worth of my attention. Boy was i wrong - guy just marched on the throne (for me from the side way). I never "parsed" his game so i had to go back on his trail to realize that he's pretty good in everything, has a heavy hand, is super quick, has excellent foot work, decent TD and TD defence, and so on.......Props to Rashad - he deserves the title . And good performance from Griffin also.
But little devil inside me just told me that this two are going to run away when Shogun will come :lol:

A bunch of us had to go to a wedding tonight so I just finished watching..............

Kongo looked impressive against a Cage Rage star.......

Mike Massenzio came to the fight with some kind of leg injury and it looked like it fucked him on the ground...........Still worth the sponsorship!!!

**DID YOU GUYS SEE THE PDG STUFF ON HIS CLOTHES AND BANNER?

The Axe Murderer looked................not so good! Really wanted to see him punish Rampage again but o'well

Nogueira looked old and more worn than usual...............Brock will KO Mir next time

Good for RASHAD...........Voting when he fought Chuck was 80-20 Chuck and this time it was 70-30 Griffin!

Great fights but I didn't like most the outcomes....................... :devil:

Demian Maia talks about Wanderlei Silva - Pre Fight

Demian Maia – who has trained with Wanderlei Silva – is in USA where helped
his team-mate to get ready for Rampage later on.

"He is great. I think it is hard to lose" told to Portal das Lutas.

Demian recognizes the main weapon of Wand is his stand up quality but the
Jiu Jitsu black belt believes in his friend IF the fight goes to the floor.

"He is ready for everything. Of course his game is stand but even onto the
ground he is fine to develop the fight and win"

Mais went to USA exclusively to support The Axe Murderer and enjoy a week
with wife and mother-in-low.
