- In a great fight that lived up to most of the hype, Aldo retained his belt in a closer fight than 2 of the judges had it. Aldo came out early and often with his striking game but Edgar fought back with tenacity and heart in the championship rounds but it wasn't enough as Aldo definitely did more visible damage.
