Media members met with UFC president Dana White and the standout fighters of UFC Fight Night after the November 9 event in Goiania, Brazil.
White revealed the winners of $50,000 post-fight bonuses. Vitor Belfort earned Knockout of the Night for his first-round head-kick KO of Dan Henderson. UFC newcomer Adriano Martins won Submission of the Night after finishing Daron Cruickshank via armbar in the second round.
Dagestan's Omari Akhmedov and TUF Brasil star Thiago "Perpetuo" Bodao won Fight of the Night for their back-and-forth, one-round war that Akhmedov ultimately won.
Fighters in attendance included all of the bonus winners as well as the stars of the co-main event, Cezar "Mutante" Ferreira and Daniel Sarafian (Ferreira won the bout via split decision) and Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante, who TKO'd Igor Pokrajac via knees in the first round.
Main event fighter Dan Henderson did not attend as he was transported to the hospital for routine evaluation.
During the press conference, White confirmed that barring injury or other unpredictable event, Belfort's next fight will be a title shot against the winner of Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva, which takes place at UFC 168 next month.
White also introduced Grace Tourinho, the managing director of UFC Brazil.
