Seven fighters joined UFC President Dana White for the TUF 18 Finale post-fight press conference:
Nate Diaz, Julianna Pena, David Grant, Jessica Rakoczy, Raquel Pennington, Jessamyn Duke, and Chris Holdsworth. White announced that the online prelim fight between Josh Sampo and Ryan Benoit won the Fight of the Night bonus. However, because Sampo missed weight, he is forced to forfeit his half of the prize. Benoit takes home 100k in a losing effort.
Knockout of the Night went to main event fighter Nate Diaz for his blistering knockout of Gray Maynard. Diaz landed big shots early and often, causing the referee to stop the bout in the first round. It was Diaz's fastest win in the UFC. TUF 18 finalist Chris Holdsworth won Submission of the Night for his rear-nake choke finish of David Grant. The pair traded shots early in the round, but Holdsworth's superior jui jitsu prevailed once the fight went to the ground.
