Main Event (UFC WW Title):
Georges St. Pierre vs. Jon Fitch via Unanimous Decision (50-44,50-43,50-43)
Round 1:
GSP takes down Fitch to begin the fight, GSP works from the guard and Fitch is doing well to hold the arms. Fitch escapes and GSP takes him right back down, GSP lets him up and lands a combo and Fitch is down and GSP moves in for the kill....GNP by GSP but Fitch hangs on and although bleeding is still in it. Both fighters back up and GSP with more combos and Fitch is on his back with GSP in half guard. Sidecontrol now for GSP and he continues the pressure with more GNP. The round ends...
Round 2:
Fitch comes out pushing the action with strikes, GSP counters, low and high kick combos by GSP. From the clinch, Fitch lands a body shot, GSP responds with a combo and both fighters look to be recovering injury. Both fighters land rights simultaneously, Fitch landing shots now and GSP looks cut. GSP comes back with mid kicks and shoots but Fitch stuffs it. Both exchange punches and a knee by Fitch, the round ends.
Round 3:
GSP lands a right and Fitch is down and GSP moves in and gets back control, Fitch reverses and is in GSP's guard. GNP by Fitch. Fitch looking for position and keeps landing GNP, GSP escapes and is now in Fitch's full guard, back on their feet now, GSP with a low kick and looking for strike combos, GSP pushes Ftch against the cage and they exchange strikes. Right HK by GSP and Fitch is in trouble. After a combo, GSP picks up the legs and takes Fitch down again.
Round 4:
Fitch comes out looking to clinch and strike again, GSP now bleeding from above his left eye, in the middle both fighters are exchanging punches. Fitch shoots and GSP blocks it, back to each fighter trying to land rights to open up the others cuts, Fitch goes for the takedown, GSP stuffs it and they are against the cage, GSP reverses and he is in Fitch's guard. The round ends with an escape by Fitch.
Round 5:
Both fighters come out and GSP lands a jab, overhand right by GSP and Fitch is looking tired, spinning backfist by GSP and he takes Fitch down. GSP looking to pass guard and is in side control, now back to full as he continues to land GNP and Fitch has no answer. Fitch pops back up and both fighters look at the clock and GSP gets another takedown, again working from the guard, GSP controls the situation again. Fitch trys to get up but GSP takes him back down and the fight is over.
Heath Herring vs. Brock Lesnar via Unanimous Decision (30-26)
Round 1:
Flying knee attemp misses by Lesnar and he throws a right and pounces on Herring. Trying for the RNC now Lesnar is in control and Herring is already bleeding badly from his head. Lesnar gets a takedown and he is landing some GNP, Lesnar in back control and he continues to hit Herring with strikes, a massive knee to the side of Herring by Lesnar as he maintains back control. Herring just trying survive the 1st round and it ends with more knees by Lesnar.
Round 2:
Low kick by Lesnar, takedown by Lesnar and he gets side back control again. Lesnar moves Herring onto his back and keeps side control, GNP by Lesnar, full mount now for Lesnar but Herring escapes. Several knees to Herrings back by Lesnar and Lesnar is smothering him from side control. Herring works his way back to the feet and they clinch against the cage. knees by Lesnar and Herring is hurt again, Herring lands a knee in the clinch and is takin down again as the round ends.
Round 3:
Low left kick by Lesnar, Herring pushes forward and clinches against the cage, Leasnar reverses and lands more knees and takes Herring down, Lesnar now raining knees down again to Herrings back, full mount again for Lesnar. from the back again, more knees from Lesnar, Herring escapes, lands a knee and a combo but Lesnar takes him back down. The fight ends with Lesnar in control and mocking Herring.
Manny Gamburyan vs. Rob Emerson via KO - Strikes Round 1 (0:12)
Round 1:
Manny shoots and Emerson lands several strikes, Manny is down and Emerson continues with the offense and Manny is out.........
Kenny Florian vs. Roger Huerta via Unanimous Decision (30-27)
Round 1:
Both fighters exchange low kicks, flying knee to the mid section by Florian, another low kick by Huerta and Florian grabs the legs and gets the takedown. Florian in full mount now, gets Huerta to flip over and now has back control, Huerta escapes and they are both standing again. Florian misses a superman and high right kick, Huerta lands a nice right hook, clinching against the cage now and Florian lands a couple of elbows. From the clinch, Florian lands a knee, the round ends with both fighters looking to land strikes.
Round 2:
Florian with right hook, small combo by Huerta, Huerta goes for the takedown, Florian stuffs it and they are back in the center of the cage and Florian shoots. Elbows by Huerta but Florian gets side and then back control. GNP by Florian but Huerta slips out and they are back on their feet. Trip by Florian and he follows it with a right as Huerta gets back to his feet. More low kicks being exchanged, clinch against the cage an Florian lands a knee, muay tai clinch by Florian and he lands a couple of elbows. Huerta responds with a strike combo and the round ends.
Round 3:
Front left kick by Florian and he lands a knee as Huerta comes in and they both exchange punches, Florian ends up with the takedown and is maintaining control, Huerta escapes and they clinch against the cage. Both fighters landing strikes, another knee by Florian, left hook by Florian and both fighters look to be tiring. front left kick by Florian again and Huerta keeps stalking him. Florian putting on a counterstrike clinic but Huerta keeps coming. Another knee from the clinch by Huerta, Huerta slips as he goes for a side kick and Florian follows up with a takedown and more knees from the clinch as the round ends.
Demian Maia vs. Jason MacDonald via Submission - RNC Round 3 (2:44)
Round 1:
Maia starts with a low kick MacDonald goes for the clinch and gets the takedown as Maia pulls guard. Maia gets the overhook with his left leg and sets in the triangle choke, MacDonald staying tough and not tapping, he reverses, escapes and gets Maia's back. MacDonald sets in the RNC and Maia is able to escape and get guard position back. Both fighters working for position and MacDonald attempts a guillotine, Maia is bleeding but escapes the choke and takes MacDonalds back. Body triangle now and a RNC by Maia, the round ends before Maia can secure it.
Round 2:
Left hook by Maia that hurt MacDonald, now clinching against the cage, several muay tai knees by Maia and he gets the takedown and is in full mount with MacDonald on his back taking some GNP. Elbows by Maia and MacDonald is bleeding, Maia looking for openings, more elbows now. GNP strikes coming in bunches from Maia but MacDonald is defending pretty well. MacDonald tries to escape and he is out and he is in Maia's half guard as the round ends.
Round 3:
MacDonald lands a right and Maia gets the takedown, MacDonald reverses and works from Maia's guard. Not much action until MacDonald goes for another RNC, Maia reverses though and gets full mount on MAcDonald and now Maia pulss back control. Maia finally sinks in the RNC and MacDonald taps....
