Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote via TKO - Doctor's-Referre Stoppage RD. 3 (0:39)
Round 1:
Cote throws a right hook and leg kick, both fighters circling, more low kicks by Cote and Silva with an inside low kick, right leg kick by Silva followed by 2 left kicks. Silva moves in a strike combo and Cote counters with a left body kick, LHK lands by Silva and they exchange big strikes, Silva lands a knee to Cote's forehead and Cote with a low kick. Cote trying stalk Silva and Silva just moves out of the way and lands a LHK as the round ends.
Round 2:
Right low inside kick by Cote, straight left by Silva and Cote lands a spinning backfist. Silva holds him against the cage, right kicks by Silva and he gets the takedown and works from Cote's guard. Elbows from the bottom by Cote and Silva will let him up. Cote rushes in and almost slips, right body kick by Cote and Silva counters with a front kick. Silva with a low right kick and Cote catches his leg and pushes Silva to the cage, Silva stops the takedown and lands several knees to the body as the round ends.
Round 3:
Overhand right by Cote and a low kick, Cote just falls to the ground...apparently he hurt something in his knee...FIGHT IS OVER!
Thiago Alves vs. Josh Koscheck via Unanimous Decision (30-27,29-28,30-27)
Round 1:
Koscheck slips and takes a right body punch, Alves lands a couple lefts and puts Koscheck down and follows up with GNP, Koscheck survives, gets up and eats a LHK for his trouble, Koscheck counters with a combo and he seems to have recovered. Alves with a RHK, body shot and right hook by Koscheck, right leg kicks by Alves, Koscheck with a right hook and right body shot. Leg kicks by Alves, straight right by Koscheck and he shoots for the takedown, holding Alves against the cage but Alves escapes and lands another LHK. More right leg kicks by Alves and the round ends.
Round 2:
Inside leg kick by Alves, straight left by Alves and Koscheck counters with a right hook, LHK by Koscheck and Alves continues with the low kicks. Koscheck moves in and lands a knee to the body, holding Alves against the cage, back to the center of the cage and another leg kick by Alves. Both fighters exchange left jabs and body kicks, uppercut by Alves and more brutal leg kicks by Alves. body punch by Koscheck. Koscheck shoots for the TD and has Alves against the cage again and foot stomping Alves.
Round 3:
Alves comes out with kick-punch combos and drops Koscheck with a left, Koscheck gets back up and Alves moves in. Another right low kick followed by a straight left from Alves and Koscheck holds on, eye poke by Alves, right hook by Koscheck, right leg kick by Alves, left high and low kicks by Alves and eye poke now by Koscheck. More combos by Alves and a right low kick that almost drops Koscheck, another kick preceded by a right-left combo, Koscheck counters with his own right-left, the fight ends with both fighters throwing strikes.
Rich Clementi vs. Gray Maynard via Unanimous Decision (30-27 all cards)
Round 1:
Maynard lands a strike combo after both fighters circle the cage looking to close the distance, Clementi with a couple low kicks. Maynard right uppercut and Clementi counters with another low leg kick, Maynard shoots in and lands a knee as Clementi stuffs the takedown. Neither fighter doing much as the crowd grows restless, Clementi tries a low kick and Maynard takes him down, working from half guard now, Maynard with minimal GNP, Clementi pulls full guard and they exchange strikes as the round ends.
Round 2:
Straight right by Maynard, leg kick by Clementi and Maynard pushes him into the cage. Back to the center and Clementi misses the RHK, Maynard shoots, double leg takedown-slam and Maynard works from side control and Clementi escapes and Maynard takes him back down. Both fighters trying for position on the ground, half guard now and Maynard with some GNP, not much action...Maynard takes Clementi's back, the round ends with Maynard in side control.
Round 3:
Maynard opens with another double leg takedown-slam and is in half guard with Clementi's head n neck, now in full guard...idiot ref won't stop talkin'...elbows from the bottom by Clementi, side control now for Maynard, north-south position and Maynard gets back control. Clementi stands up and Maynard takes him back down. Working from full guard up against the cage and Maynard gets reversed by Clementi and both fighters stand up. Maynard gets another takedown..This ref is a fucking idiot...Maynard maintains top control as the fight ends.
Fabricio Werdum vs. Junior dos Santos via TKO - Strikes RD. 1 (1:20)
Round 1:
Werdum comes out with a low left leg kick, then a right followed by a low right leg kick by Santos, left uppercut by Santos and Werdum goes down. Santos jumps in and right hammerfists to Werdum's head until the ref steps in and calls the fight!
Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk via Unanimous Decision (30-27,29-28,29-28)
Round 1:
Sherk moves in and they exchange strikes, Sherk pushes Griffin to the cage and gets the takedown, Sherk gets back control and Griffin stands , walks and throws Sherk off his back. Low lick by Griffin followed by a combo and then Sherk shoots and Griffin stuffs it. Sherk shoots again and gets the takedown, Griffin stands against the fence and peppers Sherk with strikes as Sherk holds on to his legs. Back in the center they are exchanging strikes again, leg kick by Griffin and Sherk lands a leg kick and a couple of uppercuts, Griffin shoots for the TD now and Sherk blocks it and takes Griffin's back, Griffin escapes and they lands an uppercut and a body kick. They exchange uppercuts as the round ends.
Round 2:
Another body kick by Griffin and Sherk shoots again and gets the takedown and lands a combo as Griffin gets back to his feet. Both fighters throwing hard punches, Sherk lands a multi punch combo and briefly staggers Griffin, Sherk hits with another combo and Griffin fights back with body punches. Low leg kicks by Griffin and he becomes the aggressor, Sherk counters with left-right combos looking to land the left hook. Both fighters square off and unload strikes that connect, Sherk lands a couple more as the round ends!
Round 3:
Griffin lands a couple of rights that stagger Sherk but he comes right back with a combo followed by a low kick. Right jab by Griffin and right knee by Sherk, combo left-right by Griffin and some more low leg kicks, Sherk throws the left again and a couple of right hooks, Sherk with another left-right-left-right combo, uppercut by Griffin. Sherk with a left hook, Griffin with the low leg kick and a right jab, again both fighters standing in the center of the ring and neither one is backing down. 3 lefts in row by Sherk and Griffin comes back with right jabs and body punches. Badass fight!!!
