Jabs by Smith, Martin moves in and Smith KO's him with a big right!!!
Lightheavyweight Title:
Bobby Southworth vs. Renato “Babalu” Sobral via TKO - Cut (corner/doctor stoppage) end of RD. 1 - New Champion: 'BABALU'
Round 1:
They clinch against the cage, Southworth with the takedownand is in side control. Bablu pulls guard now, Bablu escpaes and looks for the single leg. Now they clinch against the cage again. Knees from Babalu and now some dirty boxing by both fighters. Back in the center of the cage now and its back to the clinch against the cage. Elbow by Babalu and Southworth is bleeding bad from his right eye and nose. Ref steps in......fight resumes. Southworth grabs Babalu's low kick and throws him down as the round ends.
Round 2:
Southworth cannot answer the bell for the 2nd Round because of the cut!
Duane Ludwig vs. Yves Edwards via Unanimous Decision (29-28,29-28,29-28)
Round 1:
Edwards shoots and gets the trip and takedown. Working from Ludwig's guard, Edwards is cut and bleeding. Now in half guard, Edwards moves to side-control. Some minimal GNP from Edwards and Ludwig moves him back to full guard. Edwards lands some more GNP and Ludwig still can't escape. The round ends with little to no action.
Round 2:
Edwards comes out throwing kicks and tries a flying knee, Ludwig avoids most of it. Edwards gets the takedown but Ludwig escapes and lands a knee to the body. More knees by Ludwig and Edwards gets a takedown. Edwards works from half guard, now in side control. Ludwig is able to get to his feet and slam Edwards down but Edwards gets right back up and takes down Ludwig. Ludwig gets back to his feet after enduring some GNP from Edwards. The round ends with the fighters clinched against the cage.
Round 3:
Ludwig looking to land strikes and knees, body punches now by Ludwig followed by a RHK attempt. Ludwig stuffs a takedown by Edwards and gets the takedown. Ludwig now works from Edwards guard. Minimal GNP from Ludwig, Edwards just holding on. Edwards escapes and they exchange knees in the center of the cage. Ludwig throwing combos now but Edwards shoots again for the takedown. Edwards gets another takedown and the fight is over.
