Main Card:
Phillipe Nover Vs. Efrain Escudero via Decision - Unanimous (29-28 all cards) --TUF 8 LW Winner
Round 1:
Nover with a LHK attempt, Escudero with a left body kick and he gets the takedown. Escudero working from Nover's guard, Nover escapes, they stand and Escudero lands several combos and gets the takedown. Escudero has Nover's back now, then mounts and lands GNP from standing. Escudero moves in but Nover looks for the triangle and they stand and break. Another takedown by Escudero, they break again and stand up. Escudero gets the better striking and Nover is on his back, Escudero moves in with a big overhand right and moves in. Escudero is standing and Nover is laying on the mat on his back. Back standing...Nover lands a few knees from the clinch and the round ends.
Round 2:
Nover comes out aggressive but is taken down again by Escudero. Escudero is working from side control and he stands again over Nover. Nover back up and they clinch, knees by both fighters, they break and Nover lands an elbow. Inside leg kicks by Escudero and Nover rushes, Escudero gets the takedown. Escudero works from half guard, some GNP, Nover can't escape and Escudero maintains ground control. They both stand as the round ends and Nover lands a body kick and Escudero slams him.
Round 3:
Nover lands a couple combos but Escudero responds with yet another takedown. More leg kicks by Escudero as Nover lays on his back and eats them. Nover back up now, 2 left jabs by Nover, another combo by Nover and Escudero gets the single leg takedown again. Escudero is in half guard and landing minimal GNP, elbows from the bottom by Nover. More elbows to Escudero's shoulder as Nover looks for the omaplata, Escudero sweeps and escapes and starts kicking up as Nover is standing and looking to get something. The fight ends.
Ryan Bader Vs. Vinicius Magalhaes via TKO - Strikes Round 1. (2:18) ---TUF 8 LHW Winner!
Round 1:
Both fighters eschange kicks, Magalhaes looking to strike with the jab, Bader moves in with a combo. Magalhaes lands a body kick and knocks Bader down but he gets right back up. More kicks by Magalhaes and Bader moves in with strikes. Overhand right by Bader and Magalhaes is down and Bader follows it up with a few hammer strikes and the ref jumps in!
Kevin Burns Vs. Anthony Johnson via TKO - Strikes Round 3. (0:28)
Round 1:
Low kicks by both fighters, body kick by Burns and a left jab. Overhand right by Burns and Johnson comes back with a good combo. Johnson shoots and gets the takedown. Johnson works from Burns full guard and both exchange strikes, Johnson stands and lands a overhand strike and gets in side control. Burns trying the triangle from the bottom but Johnson escapes and is back in full guard. Minimal GNP by Johnson, the ref stands them up. Burns slips while throwing a leg kick and Johnson is landing kicks while Burns is on his back on the mat. Both exchange as the round ends.
Round 2:
Again both fighters with the body and leg kick exchange. Johnson shoots and Burns is defending but Johnson gets the takedown and is in half guard. GNP by Johnson (elbows) but Burns responds with elbows from the bottom. More GNP by Johnson and more of the same as the round ends.
Round 3:
Both fighters come out firing strikes, LHK lands by Johnson and Burns is out cold......
Jason MacDonald Vs. Wilson Gouveia via TKO - Strikes Round 1. (2:18)
Round 1:
Gouveia starts with a low kick and MacDonald shoots, Gouveia defending well but MacDonald gets the takedown. Gouveia escapes and both fighters are standing again. Both fighters exchanging strikes and kicks, Gouveia drops MacDonald with a right hook and Gouveia gets on top and lands several elbows and the ref steps in as MacDonald's head is bleeding bad.
Junie Browning Vs. Dave Kaplan via Submission - Armbar Round 2. (1:32)
Round 1:
Browning with a low kick and catches Kaplan's package....fight restarts. Kaplan with a low leg kick and combo to which Browning responds with his own combo. Another good combo - right- left followed by a kick by Browning and he lands another but slips. Kaplan tries a leg lock but Browning escapes and both fighters are back up. Browning continue to land and Kaplan is bleeding but he gets the takedown. Kaplan tries an ankle lock and Browning escapes. Browning with the takedown and he lands a big elbow from half guard. Browning gets his back and goes for the RNC....Kaplan escapes and reverses to stand up. Browning lands a few shots from the clinch.
Round 2:
Kaplan comes out aggressive but Browning gets the double leg takedown. Working from half guard, Browning moves to side control, sinks in the armbar and Kaplan taps!
