Georges St. Pierre vs. B.J. Penn via TKO - Ref/Doctor Stoppage after Round 4
Round 1:
BJ moves in and immediately they clinch, dirty boxing and knees by both fighters. GSP looking for the takedown and Penn defends it. GSP tries again for the single leg, Penn defends and lands a couple of short strikes. Both fighters exchange punches and GSP lands a few knees from the clinch and looks for another takedown but Penn doesn't go down. Again both fighters exchange jabs and move around the cage. Overhand right by GSP, he pushes Penn to the cage and they both land a few knees, low leg kick by GSP. the round ends with both fighters swinging. 10-9 GSP
Round 2:
Short left jab by Penn, another and GSP lands a left jab. GSP clinches again and pushes Penn to the cage and finally gets a takedown. Penn puts GSP in his guard, they exchange strikes with GSP trying to pass and Penn holding on. GSP gets side control and starts with the GNP. GSP lands multiple strikes and a knee to the side, Penn gets GSP back in his guard after eating a right, more GNP by GSP and he passes to side control again. Penn once again regains full guard. GNP from GSP and Penn is bleeding from around his left eye. GSP 10-9
Round 3:
Left jabs by GSP and an overhand right, Penn is bleeding from his eye and nose now. GSP tries for another takedown and gets it and is in half guard. GNP by GSP as he tries to pass to side control again. Penn though pushes him back to full and GSP lands more GNP. Penn is able to escape and stand back up, Penn now looking for the single leg, GSP defends it and they clinch against the cage. GSP gets another takedown and moves Penn against the cage from full guard. GNP - Elbows by GSP, more elbows by GSP and the round ends. GSP 10-9
Round 4:
GSP stalking Penn and lands a jab-kick combo, GSP with a double leg and passes to side control again. Elbows by GSP, more GNP from GSP.....2 back of the head warnings....GSp unloads more punches. GSP is relentless with the GNP and Penn is in trouble. Knees to the body now by GSP and more GNP, more of the same as GSP continues his offensive and is punishing Penn. GSP finishes the round with a flurry of GNP but Penn doesn't give up! 10-9 GSP

HERB DEAN CALLS THE FIGHT BEFORE ROUND 5 BEGINS............................
Lyoto Machida vs. Thiago Silva via TKO - Strikes Round 1 (4:59)
Round 1:
NO TOUCHING GLOVES HERE....Machida landing a few punches a low leg kick, body kick by Machida. They clinch and.....low ball shot by Machida...Fight resumes, foot sweep takedown by Machida, Silva escapes and Machida lets him stand back up. knee and a big left hook by Machida and Silva goes down, Machida moves in and works fom Silva's guard. Machida stands and they exchange kicks with Silva firing from his back. Machida goes back down into Silva's guard and then lets Silva up. Straight right by Machida and Silva goes down again, Machida moves in and gets full mount but Silva pushes and Machida takes his back. Silva turns and they clinch against the cage. Foot sweep by Machida and as the bell rings Machida lands another big right and Silva is out cold.
Stephan Bonnar vs. Jon Jones via Unanimous Decision (30-27,29-28,29-28)
Round 1:
Spinning back kick by Jones and a low leg kick to follow, they clinch in the center and Jones misses a takedown but lands a couple of knees to Bonnar's mid section. Jones hip tosses Bonnar to the ground, Bonnar gets back up tohis feet only to be tossed down again by Jones. Bonnar stands up again and they are in the center of cage. Bonnar lands a good right body kick, they clinch again and Jones landing more knees, Bonnar pushes Jones to the cage and lands his own set of knees. Jones goes for the throw and gets Bonnar's back and suplexes him to the ground. Bonnar back up and Jones lands a big spinning elbow that knocks Bonnar down, Bonnar recovers and is back up bleeding as they clinch in the center of the cage. Jones with a left knee and a takedown as the round ends.
Round 2:
Both fighters exchanging strikes, punches and kicks in the center. Jones gets the back of Bonnar after a leg trip. Jones lets him up and hits Bonnar with a knee as Bonnar stands. Jones catches Bonnar's kick and takes him down again, working from half guard Jones lands a few elbows, Bonnar escapes and eats another knee before responding with a body shot. Body kick by Jones and a straight right, Bonnar pushes Jones to the cage and holds. Bonnar now with the combos and he is continuing to land with Jones against the cage. Jones works his way off the cage with an uppercut, they clinch and Jones throws Bonnar to the mat. Back standing and Bonnar falls into a takedown as the round ends.
Round 3:
Low kicks by both fighters, they clinch again, Bonnar with a couple strikes including an uppercut. They exchange strikes in the center with Bonnar getting the best of it. Bonnar continues to strike Jones and he clinches up with Jones, Jones gets the takedown as Bonnar tries a trip. Bonnar landing strikes from back and Jones moves to side control, knees to the body by Jones and Bonnar stands back up. Both fighters seem very winded. Not much action, Bonnar lands a few strikes and Jones clinches, the fight ends.
Karo Parisyan vs. Dong Hyun Kim via Split Decision (29-28,28-29,29-28)
Round 1:
Overhand right by Parisyan and Kim gets the takedown and Parisyan is on his back trying for guard, Kim gets his back as Parisyan rolls. Parisyan stands with Kim on his back, Kim has a body lock and Parisyan drops and attempts to roll but Kim maintains back control. GNP by Kim and Parisyan stands again but can't get Kim off his back or break the body lock. Back to the ground and Kim misses and armbar and Parisyan moves into Kim's guard and avoids a triangle attempt. As they stand, Kim again takes back control and pushes Parisyan to the ground. Parisyan switches and stands up. They clinch against the cage and Kim lands several knees to Parisyan's legs. 10-9 KIM
Round 2:
Kim misses a high kick and Parisyan says bring it on. Kim pushes Parisyan against the cage and again takes his back, Parisyan uses a kimura to roll Kim and get back to his feet. Kim holds Parisyan against the cage, lands a left elbow to Parisyan's head, Parisyan throws Kim to the ground and is in side control. Kim is able to stand and pull out of Parisyan's control, knees by Parisyan to Kim's legs, .....break.....Parisyan lost his mouthpiece....fight resumes, both fighters exchanging strike combos with hooks and jabs. From the clinch they exchange knees and Parisyan lands a few shots as the round ends. 10-9 Parisyan
Round 3:
Round begins with a few misses strikes by both fights and they clinch where Kim gets the takedown, Parisyan uses an upkick but the ref says it was an illegal. They restart standing and Parisyan rushes in but Kim takes his back standing and they wrestle from the clinch as both are looking for position. Exchange of knees by both fighters and Parisyan looks for the double leg, Kim defends well and stands back up. Crowd boos a little as they clinch against the cage again. Parisyan almost gets another throw but Kim is right back on his feet. Both fighters look exhausted. leg trip by Parisyan but Kim again is right back to his feet and the fight ends with a brief exchange from both fights. 10-9 KIM
Nate Diaz vs. Clay Guida via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29,29-28)
Round 1:
Both fighters come out swinging and briefly clinch, Diaz peppering Guida with jabs and Guida responds with low kicks. Diaz with more striking combos, Guida shoots for the single leg, defended by Diaz and he continues with the right - left combos. Diaz shoots in and pulls guard, Guida landing minimal GNP and he takes Diaz's back as Diaz tries to stand-up. Guida is able to move to side control and land several elbows. Diaz rolls and gets back to his feet, Guida picks him up and slams him back to the mat. Guida on diaz's back again standing and he lands a knee to which Diaz responds with a few punches and a low kick as the round ends. 10-9 Guida
Round 2:
Diaz again starts with combos but misses a hip toss. They clinch against the cage, exchanging dirty boxing strikes and Guida reverses and holds Diaz against the cage, to the ground and both fighters looking for position, down and up as they both are looking for an opening. Diaz gets the throw but Guida is still on his back on the mat, Diaz trying for the armbar, Guida escapes and won't let go of Diaz's back. Another throw by Diaz but Guida ends up in his guard and the round ends. Diaz 10-9
Round 3:
Diaz with right jabs and Guida reponds with a couple leg kicks. Diaz continues with right left hook combos, they clinch against the cage with Guida's back against the cage, they break and Diaz starts to pick apart Guida with strikes, muay Thai clinch and knees by Diaz, Guida grabs a leg and looks for the takedown. Diaz gets another throw but more of the same from Guida as he won't let go Diaz's back. Back standing, Guida gets the single leg takedown, Diaz is showboating.....why?....Diaz is able to land a big punch as the fight ends. 10-9 Diaz
