Former pro wrestling star and WWE heavyweight champion, unbeaten Bobby Lashley, won his Strikeforce debut with a first-round TKO over Wes Sims Saturday at the BankAtlantic Center on SHOWTIME.
In the fight of the night on the opening Strikeforce event in 2010, former two-time world champion Robbie Lawler rallied dramatically to register a spectacular first-round knockout over Melvin Manhoef.
Former NFL and college football star Herschel Walker, 47, showed excellent endurance and decent ability in his highly anticipated MMA debut -- a third-round TKO over Greg Nagy.
Strikeforce Female World Champion Cris Cyborg had to fight to turn back a determined effort from gutsy, hard-trying challenger Marloes Coenen to win by third-round TKO and retain her 145-pound title.
In an excellent performance, talented Nick Diaz captured the first-ever Strikeforce World Welterweight title by first-round TKO over Marius Zaromskis.
