Hopefully he can stay in the sport and become a coach. He was a warrior and a badass that never turned down a fight.

Here is what Ninja said on his Twitter page:
“It was an amazing run, and [it is] a very tough moment,” Rua wrote. “But there comes a time for all in life, and it’s time to move on. I am proud of all I did in MMA and all [the] experiences I had. I will continue to work with MMA, doing seminars, teaching classes, training fighters and doing my share to help [the] sport that I love so much,” he wrote. [It is] time now to help others and enjoy my family, my wife, my kids and move [on]. Life goes on, memories will stay forever and MMA will still be my life forever.”

It's a good move. It's sort of sad to see someone retire when they're not actually old, but his prime has clearly gone by.
Also, he'd be far more respected if he had gotten the wins over Rampage and Henderson that he deserved.

That list says it all. Congrats to Ninja on a great career and hopefully more success as a coach.
