Bungie's Destiny to Feature SpeedTree
Destiny, Bungie’s highly anticipated mythic science-fiction action universe, will integrate SpeedTree for Games into its futuristic worlds to enhance one of the title’s artistic themes of nature ascending over mankind’s lost worlds.
“We’re very pleased that Bungie chose to feature SpeedTree in Destiny’s unique vision of overgrown futuristic worlds,” notes Michael Sechrest, President of SpeedTree developer Interactive Data Visualization, Inc. “Bungie had very specific needs and challenges for Destiny, including scalability from current to next-generation hardware. SpeedTree was designed with these sorts of requirements in mind.”
Destiny is being developed by Bungie, is published by Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), and is one of the most anticipated games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
