There are not many truly incredible role-playing games out there on the market today -- and even fewer that feature such an engrossing and exciting story as the Fallout series in general. The plot is incredibly intricate and far too convoluted and complex to really do justice to. It is very futuristic and features a typical sort of sci-fi backdrop. The game begins in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. and follows a multi-dimensional and well-developed character in his quest among the bizarre on Earth. The gameplay mechanic holds up well, and graphically this game is absolutely incredible. A native of D.C. myself, I can attest to the incredible attention to detail in this title, and if it's any indication, Fallout 3 is sure to be a great next generation game. It's being created by Bethesda Game Studios, also creators of The Elder Scrolls series. That should also be a good indicator of the extraordinary action RPG Fallout 3 is going to be.
