UK Based Promoter Dave O'Donnell to Host GPG’s First International Casting Call

Global Proving Ground (GPG), a new revolutionary platform that enables combat sports athletes to showcase their skills on a global level, announced today that they will be hosting their first International casting call. The casting call, which will take place in London on September 8 during intermission at UCMMA’s “White Collar MMA 6” event at the prestigious Troxy Theatre, will be hosted by former Cage Rage Presenter and current UCMMA Promoter Dave O'Donnell.

GPG is in search of British contestants for an upcoming MMA based reality TV show that they are involved with called “Warrior Island.” Potential contestants will enter the UCMMA cage between the prelim and main card intermission to tryout and showcase their skills in front of a sold out crowd in hopes of being selected.

James Jefferson President and CEO of GPG stated, “We are very excited about our very first International casting call. GPG offers combat sports fighters of all disciplines, all over the world, a broad range of lucrative opportunities. Each GPG project is powered by the fighters and driven by the fans. “Warrior Island” is just one of many projects that GPG is involved with.”

According to Dave O’Donnell, “UCMMA has always been dedicated to delivering the best and brightest British talent to fight fans around the globe. Now our platform will allow us to give a few lucky guys the opportunity of a lifetime. I am extremely proud to host the first UK casting call for Warrior Island.”

The exciting reality based MMA TV show created by James Jefferson and directed by Hollywood veteran Ben Perry, will put 16 elite fighters on an island in the Pacific Ocean. Each week the fighters will battle one another to stay on the island and compete for international stardom, bragging rights, and a significant grand prize.

Auditions are open to martial artists of all weight classes, forms and disciplines, not just MMA fighters. Anyone in the London area this weekend interested in being considered should email Dave O’Donnell at Dave@UCMMA.com with a short bio, your martial arts background, weight class and contact info.
