From http://www.africanassassin.com/blog/:
Last weekend, I did a 3 day seminar at Nastula’s Judo & Fitness Club in Warsaw, Poland. It was a lot of fun. There were about 45 people there for the seminar and all of them were pretty eager to learn. I couldn't speak their language but training and fighting is it's own language and everyone picked things up quickly.
On the first day, we mostly worked on stand up, the clinch game, and Judo throws.
The second day was all about the ground. We worked on being aggressive when on top and getting up from the bottom.
The 3rd day was about conditioning. I put them throught circuit training. They were all up to the challenge.
All the students were very enthusiastic. At the end, they all got certificates for participating in the seminar.
Pawel was supposed to have a fight on saturday night. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled early the morning before it was to happen. I mean early too, like 1 a.m. in the morning. The fighters had weighed in, had press conferences and everything. Pawel was pumped and ready to go too. We were both disappointed when we got the news.
Overall I had a great time in Warsaw. The trip was really fun. It was nice to experience a different culture and see how they do things over there.
Now I'm off to the Free Fight Academy in France.
