TFG Combat & Fitness of Indian Lake has moved to the OLD Indian Lake Middle School in Lewistown Ohio and will be re-opening the doors on February 1st. We have also changed the name of the dojo to "The Fighters Guild Mixed Martial Arts Academy of Indian Lake" or TFG MMA I.L.
Also... we are happy to announce the addition of former Ohio State Wrestler, UFC Veteran and Professional Fighter Sean Salmon to the TFG MMA Coaching Staff. Sean will be instructing MMA Submission Grappling on Thursdays.
Classes offered...
Mixed Martial Arts
TFG MMA Team travels all over the Midwest fighting for Organizations such as NAAFS and UVC. We have some of the top amateur and Professional fighters in the area and the top Womens MMA Team in Ohio. Morning MMA Classes are held Monday Wednesday and Friday10-11:30 am. We have the areas best pricing for instruction for 5 a class or 40 a Month. Also available Tuesday and Thursday 8-9:30 pm evening MMA Classes for $5.00 a class or 30 a month or pick the unlimited MMA Package for $60.00 a month and get "No Gi" grappling on Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm for no additional cost.

We are currently in Room #8 but will be moving to the OLD Music Room in the Basement. Work will begin on this space in early Spring
Youth Pankration
Pankration is basically MMA for kids for ages 4-15 except strikes to the head are forbidden. This Class is a mixture of Greco Roman Wrestling Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Boxing Although this class is designed for competition use only it is VERY practical for self defense in a last case scenario. We also follow strict Dojo etiquette where mutual respect and discipline is strongly encouraged. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 for $30 a month for the first child and $10 a month every child there after.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE INSTRUCTION.
*All students pay a once a year $25.00 Joining fee and $10.00 for every other family member.
No Gi Grappling
No Gi is a submission Grappling class with a blend of Free Style Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This class is for the athlete who intends on competing in Grappling tournaments such as Ohio Grappling Challenge and Naga. Instruction is 25.00 a month or included in the MMA Unlimited package. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30
Fit to Fight Cardio Classes
"Fit to Fight" is designed to challenge participants physically as well as mentally. Basic strikes and kicks are taught along with strength and conditioning. Although this class is designed for athletes the instructor will alter for beginners just wanting to get in shape. Classes will be held Monday Wednesday and Fridays from 6-7pm Classes are $3.00 a piece or $25.00 a month for unlimited and use of the Full Court Basketball Gym, Shower rooms and Free Weights.
