Spinks vs. Phillips for IBF MW Belt

Verno Phillips, the highest rated contender in the IBF at #3, will challenge for Corey Spinks’ jr. middleweight championship. The #1 and #2 spots are currently vacant.The IBF has asked the two camps to begin negotiations for the title fight. Phillips will be fighting for his fourth world title as he has previously held the IBF, WBO and WBU world titles all at 154lbs.
