Great website you guys have here, and I was lucky to stumble across it. Seems like a great community, and I wanted to share something with you MMA gamer fans.
I also would like to get into contact with one of your admins of the website, and perhaps talk about co-promoting each other via buddy links etc...
Anyways.
I'm Bucket and I'm one of the promoters for the UFF. We started as UFC Undisputed 09/2010 league, but with the obvious issues with 2010 we are really gearing up for EA MMA.
We have weekly events and will be doing something very different than we've ever tried before. Our league with feature three separate organizations on one site.
The Ultimate Fighting Federation and two other organizations that will be named later. Each organization will be run by one of the admins/mods on the site. Each league will feature...
- Its own events
- Its own full roster
- And one of the three (I believe) unique rule sets/settings that EA MMA provides.
As a fighter for this league you will be able to sign up, create your fighter, and post all his information on the site. Once you first join you will be a free agent. You will than receive base contract offers from each of the organizations and you get to choose where you fight and by what rules you fight. As you build your reputation on the site you will have the ability to sign for bigger contracts whether it be for more UFF Cash (Site points we use for items from our mock store to buy things such as stat changes, weight class changes, etc) or more years.
This system gives you the ability to take career mode online essentially. Your created fighter can fight wherever he wishes based on competition, rule sets, etc. These three organizations that will be set up will be competing against each other to sign the best fighters and put on the best events. The members of the site will be able to vote every week on which card they felt was the most entertaining and that organization will receive bonuses for being successful.
The UFF will no longer just be match ups and fights, but an entire online MMA simulation for you guys. More details are being hammered out and we continue to change the site to compensate for the changes we will be making. However, I'm and our current members are really excited about where the league is going.
We also will have...
- Striking only events
- Boxing events
- Full training camps
- Camp wars
- Side competition with real fighters
- And our own version of The Ultimate Fighter called UFF Rising Stars.
Our site has grown into a great community of guys that just love to game and love MMA. We have members that conduct interviews and do editing for graphics, video, etc. I know that once EA MMA hits we will continue to get bigger and better every day.
I wanted to start communicating with you guys now to get feedback on the idea and let you help grow it into something more. I will also be hear communicating with you guys and being active on the boards. I will make sure I keep all updates in this post so you guys know what is going on in the UFF.
Let me hear some feedback and I'll be open to answering any questions you guys may have. Here is a link to the site...
