Home Training Center - HTC

Our Home Training Center will be offering Peak Performance Camps this winter. Camp will be conducted November 28 - 30 in conjunction with a well attended tournament in State College, PA. We will also conduct camp December 5 - 7.

Inn Convention Center in State College, PA. We offer 2 - 6 day options for all ages.

We will host our final Weekend Warrior Camp of the season at the Home Training
Center November 28 - 30. Camp will be held in conjunction with the Little Lion 12th
Annual Thanksgiving Classic. 1, 2 and 3 day options are available.

Campers ages 15 and under are welcome to participate in a tournament December 27 at
Bellefonte High School. It is just 10 miles from our camp. We will hold satellite
weigh ins December 26 at 8:30pm at the Ramada after session.

If you participate in this event, our morning session will be at Bellefonte High
School prior to the start of competition. Then we will return to camp for late
afternoon and evening sessions.

Stocking stuffers must be ordered by Wednesday, December 17 to guarantee delivery by
Christmas.

We conduct camps for wrestlers of all ages across the nation in a small group,
personalized format. Our camps are an ideal opportunity for teams and individuals of
all ages to work with world class clinicians, highly successful coaches and
accomplished competitors. Our staff, curriculum and camp design along with over 20
years of conducting wrestling camps have made the Gold Medal Training Camp System

We will conduct Peak Performance Camps at the HTC in January and February. These
intensive learning and training camps are a unique opportunity to receive

U.S.A. OLYMPIAN KEN CHERTOW TO CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF GOLD MEDAL TRAINING CAMPS

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., - Ken Chertow Wrestling, the nation’s largest wrestling camp
system, will begin their 20th year of the Gold Medal Training Camp System on May 24.
We will be conducting camps in 23 locations across the nation. The Gold Medal Camp
System has been designed so campers will learn and retain as much as possible.
The camp is owned and coached by Ken Chertow, a 3-time NCAA All-American at Penn
State University and United States Olympian. Chertow, who has been teaching and
coaching wrestling for more than 20 years, including coaching stints at both Penn
State and Ohio State Universities, has seen his campers succeed at the state,
national and world level. Chertow’s camps have helped produce more than 500 state
champions from 1998 - 2008. Chertow’s focus is helping kids grow into successful
student-athletes with a passion for wrestling and personal achievement.

On staff with Coach Chertow this year and in the past are highly recognized guest
clinicians including Olympians, NCAA Champions and some of the best high school and
college coaches.

Peak Performance Training Camp

Peak Performance Camps will be conducted at Coach Chertow's Home Training Center (HTC) in State College, PA both this weekend as well as April 17 - 19.

This weekend's camp, March 28 - 29, will be held in conjunction with a highly competitive local tournament.

Our April 17 - 19 camp is a perfect opportunity to prepare for MAWAs, FS/GR Tournaments and TOC.

NCAA Wrestling Challenge

Congratulations to our many campers who earned 2009 NCAA All-American Honors -
Troy Nickerson, Steve Luke, Jake Herbert, Quentin Wright, Kyle Ruschell, Nic Bedleyon, Angel Escobedo, Brandon Precin, Kellan Russell, Frank Molinaro, Mike Poeta, Jordan Leen, and Andrew Howe.

Congratulations to the winners of our 2009 NCAA Wrestling Challenge and thank you to all who participated.

First Place, Christopher Rogers won a pair of ASICS wrestling shoes.

Second Place, Gary Kavarsky won a Cliff Keen headgear.

There was a tie for Third Place between Isaac MacKenzie, Grant Steen, Joseph Buttram and Todd Brown.
