Also made official for UFC 98 today is a main card bout pitting middleweight contenders Yushin Okami and Dan Miller against each other, as well as a pivotal
lightweight contest between former 155-pound champ Sean Sherk and New Jersey’s Frankie Edgar.
In off-TV action, someone’s likely to get knocked out when light heavyweight sluggers James “The Sandman” Irvin and Drew “The Massacre” McFedries collide. Speaking of knockout artists, light heavyweight Houston Alexander makes his long-awaited return against Andre Gusmao, and Patrick Barry takes on newcomer Tim Hague.
A lightweight bout will see The Ultimate Fighter finalist Phillipe Nover take on Louisiana’s Kyle Bradley, and TUF alumni “Diamond” Dave Kaplan and George Roop will also lock horns in 155-pound action before welterweights Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Brandon Wolff take to the Octagon.
