Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields
Entering first is former Elite XC welterweight champion Jake Shields who has a professional MMA record of 22-4-1. Shields is on an eleven-fight win streak, finishing his last seven. Shields most recently defeated Paul Daley with an armbar. Robbie Lawler enters next, also a former EXC champion. Lawler enters the fight with 16 wins, 4 losses, and one no contest. Lawler most recently stopped Scott Smith with strikes. Outside of a no contest Lawler has won his last five bouts. The bout is set for a catch-weight of 182 pounds. The referee is once again "Big" John.
Round One
Shields lands a trio of leg kicks and a body kick. Shields goes for a takedown but can't keep Lawler down. Clinched against the fence, both fighters trade knees. Shields gets the plum but Lawler stays close. Lawler misses a knee as Shields fails another takedown. Shields lands a body kick. Shields feints a takedown and lands another body kick. Shields is busy with kicks, landing another to the thigh. Lawler is patient, but Shields is the only really attacking. Jake Shields goes for a guillotine and pulls guard, ultimately forcing Lawler to tap out.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Brett Rogers
Brett Rogers enters first with an undefeated 9-0 record. Rogers last fought Ron "Abongo" Humphreys in April, picking up his eighth TKO victory and handing Humphreys his first career defeat. Andrei Arlovski is announced next sporting a professional record of 15-6. Arlovski was most recently defeated by Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction 2, ending the former UFC champion's five-fight win streak. It is "Big" John night as he is referee once again.
Round One
Arlovski strikes first with an inside leg kick. Brett Rogers lands a series of hooks, dropping Arlovski and forcing a stoppage only twenty-two seconds into the fight.

Nick Diaz vs. Scott Smith
Scott Smith enters first with 16 wins, 5 losses, and one no contest. Smith is riding a two-fight win streak with knockouts over Terry Martin and Benji Radach. Nick Diaz is making his second consecutive appearance at middleweight. With a 19-7 record and one no contest, Diaz is riding a four-fight win streak including a win most recently over Frank Shamrock in April. "Big" John continues to referee. Neither fighter offers to touch gloves after the stare down.
Round One
Smith misses two wild punches. Diaz taunts Smith. Smith lunges in and both fighters clinch. Diaz peppers Smith's head and body with shots as he's pressed into the fence. Smith separates. Diaz presses forward. Smith misses with punches again. Diaz taunts with hands down and his chin out and Smith takes the bait. Diaz lands a series of punches. Smith is only looking for the homerun but can't connect. Diaz continues to pick Smith apart. Diaz lands a head kick and a straight left. Diaz continues throwing punches as Smith appears hurt. Smith ties up Diaz and presses him into the fence. The ref separates the fighters and they exchange punches, Smith finally landing a power shot. Smith lunges with a punch and eats a hard shot. Diaz clinches and forces Smith against the fence and lands knees to the leg. Diaz works punches to the body then backs up. Diaz throws punches then taunts but eats a right. Smith presses Diaz into the fence. Diaz goes for a headlock and spins Smith to the fence. Smith takes Diaz' back but Diaz looks for a kimura. Smith lifts Diaz and slams him on his belly, then stands. At the end of an exchange Diaz lands a big right hook. Smith looks hurt again but continues to throw wild shots. Smith lands a huge inside leg kick then misses a head kick. Smith clinches Diaz against the fence. Smith throws wild with ten seconds to go. Diaz clinches and trips Smith to the ground as the bell sounds.

Round Two
Diaz presses forward immediately. Smith misses but eats punches from Diaz. Diaz throws loads and punches and lands an inside leg kick. Smith misses a wild hook then takes Diaz' back. Smith lets go and lands a big right punch. Diaz throws a series of punches with great accuracy. Diaz hurts Smith with a body shot and throws punches to the head and body. Diaz' eye is bleeding, but he continues landing shots. Smith looks out on his feet and Diaz keeps attacking. Smith ties up and lands an elbow. Diaz lands more head shots. Smith looks for an occasional haymaker but Diaz evades. Diaz keeps working the head and body. Clinched up against the fence Diaz lands a knee to the body. Smith spins and presses Diaz into the fence. "Big" John separates them. Smith is bloody as Diaz moves in. Diaz lands head and body shots at will. Diaz lands a trio of head kicks. Smith lands an inside leg kick. Another kick from Smith lands on Diaz' lead leg. Diaz takes a pause and backs up before re-engaging with Smith. Smith throws a superman punch and head kick, but eats punches. Diaz initiates a clinch and presses Smith into the fence. Diaz lands several punches and Smith flails for a single-leg takedown as the bell sounds.

Round Three
Smith throws wild punches desperately. Diaz returns with strikes but is pressed into the fence. "Big" John separates them. Diaz lands a head kick then dodges a big hook. After a failed takedown attempt Smith misses a head kick. Diaz lands a body shot that sends Smith to his knees. Diaz climbs on a turtled Smith and gets his hooks in. Nick Diaz locks in a rear naked choke and ends the fight 1:41 into the round.

Joe Riggs vs. Phil Baroni
Joe Riggs is announced first with a 29-10 record. Riggs is 2-2 in his last four appearances and enters riding a KO win over Luke Stewart. Phil Baroni has a record of 13-10 and is on a three-fight win streak, including a decision most recently over Olaf Alfonso at PFC 10. The referee is once again "Big" John McCarthy. Neither fighter touches gloves leaving the stare down.
Round One
Riggs throws a headkick to start. Both fighters clinch and Riggs scores a trip. Riggs controls Baroni's hips on the ground and scrambles to his back. Riggs gets the hooks. Baroni spins but is on the bottom. Baroni gets to butterfly guard but eats a couple punches. Riggs gets to side control and Baroni gives up his back. Baroni turtles and explodes, but Riggs is still on top, now in half-guard. Baroni gets to the fence and tries to stand up. Baroni gets to his feet, but Riggs succeeds with a single-leg takedown. Baroni stands up again. Riggs goes for another single-leg takedown, but Baroni ends up on top inside full guard. Baroni works the body and head with punches. The referee stands the fighters up. Riggs shoots in with a straight punch then goes for a takedown. Baroni's back is to the fence but he defends the takedown. Riggs turtles then rolls. Baroni lands strikes from top of side control as the round ends.

Round Two
Riggs throws an inside leg kick. Riggs feints a straight right and lands a body kick. Riggs lands an inside leg kick, then receives one from Baroni. Riggs misses with a spinning back fist by a mile. Riggs lands another inside leg kick. Riggs scores a takedown, but Baroni cage walks back to his feet. Riggs lands a knee but is taken down with Baroni in his full guard. Riggs cage walks himself and spins from the fence. Riggs lands a pair of heavy punches. Riggs lands an inside leg kick then misses with a head kick. Riggs lands a straight left as Baroni shoots, but Riggs defends the takedown. Clinched against the fence Riggs lands a right then backs up. Riggs launches in with a big knee to the head, then a straight left. Riggs presses Baroni into the fence then almost scores a single-leg takedown. Baroni goes for his own takedown but fails. Riggs lands another right but is taken down with Baroni in his full guard. Riggs looks for a triangle choke. Baroni escapes after a struggle. Baroni lands some punches from the top as the round ends.

Round Three
Both fighters touch gloves for the first time to start round three. Riggs keeps working inside leg kicks. Riggs lands a knee that hurts Baroni then attacks. Baroni covers up than Riggs slows down. Riggs lands a spinning back kick to the body. Riggs lands a straight left and a flying knee. Riggs continues working inside leg kicks. Riggs lands a straight left flush. Baroni lands a body shot. Riggs lands an inside leg kick then a body kick. Baroni lands a left hook to the body but is backed up by Riggs. Riggs lands another big knee and a left punch. Riggs lands a clean lead hook. Baroni throws a lazy head kick and eats a barrage from Riggs. Riggs lands a straight left and a knee to the head. Baroni is gassed. Baroni lands a straight punch, but eats punches and knees. He has a sizable not above his eye. Riggs keeps attacking with a variety of strikes and Mauro asks if "anyone has got a kitchen sink". Baroni lands a straight right and is taunted by Riggs. Baroni misses a haymaker and is taken down moments before the bell sounds.

Kevin Randleman vs. Mike Whitehead
Mike Whitehead is announced first with a 23-7 record, and stealing Mike Tyson's nickname - "Iron". Whitehead enters the bout riding a submission win over Leo Pla at M-1 Challenge 8. PDG-sponsored Kevin Randleman is announced next, entering the bout with a record of 17 wins and 12 losses. Randleman last fought last year in May when he won a decision over Ryo Kawamura at Sengoku 2. "Big" John McCarthy is the referee.
Round One
Whitehead opens with a series of unchecked leg kicks. Whitehead misses a headkick and Randleman takes him down, clasping to his back. Whitehead gets to the fence and back to his feet and both separate. Whitehead lands a body kick and an inside leg kick. Both fighters clinch and Randleman lands a knee. Whitehead forces Randleman into the fence and takes his opponent down. Randleman sweeps Whitehead and gets back to his feet. Whitehead presses the action and lands another leg kick. Whitehead throws a hook then goes for a takedown, pressing Randleman into the fence. Whitehead lifts Randleman and scores a takedown, but Randleman gets back to his feet with another sweep. Whitehead gets Randleman back to the mat once again and is in top-position half-guard. Whitehead lands body shots while looking for a way to pass. Randleman explodes and sweeps Whitehead into another stand-up. Whitehead throws a pair of right cross-leg kick combinations. Randleman appears gassed ans the commentary team of Mauro Ranallo and Frank Shamrock comment on it. Whitehead lands an uppercut and clinches with Randleman along the fence. Whitehead scores another takedown and is once again in half-guard. The round ends with Whitehead landing a few body shots.

Round Two
Whitehead lands a right cross cleanly. Whitehead scores another double-leg takedown and ends up in half-guard again. Whitehead forces his forearm into Randleman's throat to break his grip and look for a guard pass. Whitehead gets to side control. Whitehead doesn't do much besides control. He looks to trap Randleman's arm, but isn't doing much. The crowd boos ruthlessly. Whitehead presses his forearm into Randleman's throat and stalls. Whitehead achieves full mount. Randleman escapes to his feet and lands an uppercut. Whitehead lands an inside leg kick and appears to be fatiguing himself. Both fighters throw slow, lazy strikes without connecting. The crowd boos as the action is lacking. The round ends.

Round Three
Whitehead misses a pair of body shots. Randleman lands a big overhand right that looks to stagger Whitehead, but he's OK. Whitehead answers back with his own strikes, but eats an uppercut. Randleman looks determined and seemingly aware that he needs a stoppage to win. Whitehead lands a big straight right. Whitehead jabs at Randleman then throws a leg kick, but Randleman lands a big shot and drops Whitehead. Randleman tries to finish but Whitehead stands back up, bleeding from his forehead. Whitehead presses forward. Whitehead clinches with Randleman and lands a knee. Randleman presses Whitehead against the fence. They separate and Whitehead lands a combination. Randleman lands a pair of jabs as Whitehead's hands are lowering. Whitehead scores a double-leg takedown and is in half-guard once again. Whitehead is working for a kimura. Randleman frees himself from the submission. One minute remains and Whitehead smothers Randleman. Randleman explodes out to his feet and presses towards Whitehead. Whitehead comes in with a double jab and lands a right hook flush. Randleman swings for the fences but misses. The round ends with a jab from Randleman.
PDG scores round three 10-9 for Randleman, and the fight 29-28 for Mike Whitehead
