UFC 100 Preview, Live Results, PBP & Discussion!

**LIVE Results and Play-by-Play**


Main Card:Play-by-Play:

UFC Heavyweight Championship:
Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir via TKO - Strikes Round 2 (1:48)

Mir comes to the cage with a cut/hemotoma above his right eye from a head clash with Forest GRiffin in training. Lesnar comes to the cage to METALLICA's "Enter Sandman".

Round 1:
Lesnar doesn't want to touch gloves and Mir just smiles. Leg kick by Lesnar, Lesnar gets a takedown after a breif exchange and works from Mir's half guard. Not much action as both fighters are cautious, an elbow draws blood from Mir's nose, GNP from Lesnar. Lots of right punches from Lesnar, now body punches from Lesnar, more of the same from Lesnar and Mir seems content to take them. The round ends and Mir is bloody.

Round 2:
Lesnar throws Mir down but lets him back up, Mir lands a few good knees and then Lesnar takes him back down and works from Mir's half guard. GNP - right punches from Lesnar and more blood comes from Mir's face, Lesnar GNP continues and he knocks Mir out on the ground. Lesnar goes over to Mir when he gets up and talks shit to him.



Jon Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago via Decision - Unanimous (30-27,29-28,29-28)



UFC Welterweight Championship:
Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves via Decision - Unanimous (50-45,50-44,50-45)

Round 1:
Th Pitbull is pacing and GSP seems relaxed leading up to the start. GSP with a low inside leg kick, GSP chants echo the arena, GSP gets the single leg takedown and Alves gets back up only to be taken down again. GSP works from half guard and goes for back control, Alves stands and GSP takes him down again with back control and hooks in. Alves reverses and escapes, they are back standing, both fighters exchanging strikes. GSP getting the better of the exchanges with leg kicks and jabs, GSP shoots again but Alves defends it. Alves moves in with a kick and punch combo but GSP gets the double leg and puts him on his back, Alves escapes again and they clinch against the cage.

Round 2:
Alves is cut above his right eye. Both are landing leg kicks, GSP with a leg kick-right hook combo and then he shoots and gets the takedown. GSP works from half guard, brief mount and GNP from GSP, more GNP from GSP in the full guard and Alves is bleeding badly. GNP-Elbows from GSP make the bleeding worse. Alves doing good keeping GSP in his guard but he is eating punches and elbows for his effort, Alves slips out and escapes, they clinch against the cage.

Round 3:
Alves pushing forward now and shakes off a takedown attempt by GSP, both fighters looking for the striking advantage, GSP gets the hooks in and takes Alves down again. Working from the half guard now GSP is trying to pass, again Alves is able to escape and they are back on their feet. Leg kicks by both fighters, now a striking exchange with both fighters landing shots. Alves throws a kick and eats a right hook from GSP that puts him on his back, GSP moves in and GNP's until the end of the round.

Round 4:
GSP gets another double leg takedown and passes into the mount, GSP tries for an arm triangle but Alves gets back to half guard. Alves escapes and gets GSP on his back, Alves now works from the full guard of GSP and he lands some GNP. GSP kicks out and escapes and they are back standing, Alves moving forward and lands a knee to body but misses an uppercut. Alves throws a leg kick and GSP takes him down again and gets back control. GSP sets in the hooks but the round ends.

Round 5:
Alves comes out striking with leg kicks and strikes, more combos from Alves, GSP shoots and again gets the takedown. GSP working from half guard, Alves gets to his feet and GSP holds him against the cage. They break and exchange punches, Alves looking for a KO but GSP takes him down and works from Alves' full guard. Eight takedowns so far for GSP, Alves gets back up but is taken down again by GSP. Alves is unable to defend much from GSP and GSP is holding him down from half guard. The fight ends with GSP pushing Alves back to the mat.



Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping via TKO - Strikes Round 2 (3:20)

Round 1:
United States vs. United Kingdom. Not surprisingly the crowd is with Hendo as USA chants echo the arena. The fight starts and Hendo is stalking Bisping around the cage, Hendo lands several combos and Bisping retreats but lands some counters. More strikes from Hendo and Bisping comes back with a combo of his own, Hendo keeps moving forward and they both exchange left jabs. Bisping continues to back pedal and Hendo is chasing him, Hendo clinches Bisping against the cage and starts landing knees. They release and Bisping shoots for the takedown and Hendo just smiles, Hendo lands another big right as the round ends.

Round 2:
Both fighters are looking to land but nothing is landing, now Hendo connects with a right-left combo and Bisping retreats. Left jabs by Hendo, Bisping misses an overhand right and then lands a right-left combo. Hendo stalking Bisping again with left jabs and Hendo lands a huge right that knocks Bisping out cold and he follows it up with a huge right to the downed Bisping.

Bisping is still out........



Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan Belcher via Decision - Split (30-27,29-28,28-29)

Round 1:
Akiyama comes to the ring with Caol Uno in his corner. Belcher starts the fight with leg kicks, LHK by Akiyama twice and Belcher responds with more leg kicks. Groin kick by Belcher and Akiyama is down....fight restarts. Both fighters exchanging strikes, more leg kicks by Belcher and Akiyama lands a body kick preceded by a nice left-right combo. Belcher lands a left jab and Akiyama goes down but gets right back up and they exchange more strikes. Akiyama with a LHK followed by a right hook, both fighters teeing off with overhand rights. Belcher hold Akiyama against the cage, they separate and Akiyama gets a takedown.

Round 2:
Both fighters marked up under their right eyes. Akiyama gets another takedown but Belcher reverses and goes for a leg lock. Akiyama escapes and is in side control, Belcher regains full guard. GNP by Akiyama, more GNP by Akiyama as he noves to half guard. Belcher escapes and they are back standing, Akiyama's strikes answered by Belcher's leg kicks. Both fighters again exchanging strikes and the pace has slowed a bit, Belcher with a another couple of leg kicks as the round ends.

Round 3:
Belcher pokes Akiyama in the left eye, they both are throwing strikes, Belcher throwing body shots now. Both fighters doing damage with right hooks and left jabs, Akiyama's eye is swelling shut. More leg kicks from Belcher, spinning back kick by Akiyama and he presses forward looking to make up points. Belcher continues with the leg kicks and Akiyama knocks him to the ground with a right hook, superman punch by Belcher and another leg kick. Akiyama gets a sweep takedown but Belcher escapes. The fight ends with both fighters swinging.

Mac Danzig vs. Jim Miller via Decision - Unanimous (30-27 all cards)

Hopefully they show Jones and Colemans fights during the broadcast.
