MFC 23 "Lister vs. Leites" Weigh-In Results:
Leites, Lister lead pack for MFC's 2009 finale
Main eventers Thales Leites and Dean Lister were both perfect on the scales in their preparation for MFC 23: Unstoppable to be held Friday, December 4 at the River Cree Resort and Casino, just outside Edmonton, Alberta.
That middleweight clash, which headlines the card airing live on HDNet Fights, leads a nine-fight event before the MFC's 18th consecutive sold-out crowd. Lister hit the scale at 185 while Leites hit at 185 1/2.
Fellow middleweights Solomon Hutcherson and Jason MacDonald, who will be the night's co-main event, also had no trouble making the limit - Hutcherson at 184 and MacDonald at 185 1/2. The third middleweight bout on the televised card will forge ahead with Art Santore, who weighed in at 185 1/2, taking on Bryan Baker, who stepped off at 183 1/2.
All fighters for the event made their weight limit.
