Franklin out of UFC 82 Fight: Needs Surgery

Postby NWOWolfpack » Thu Dec 20, 2007 4:20 pm

http://www.MMAJunkie.com

Rich Franklin had to pull out of a UFC 82 fight with Travis Lutter and will be sidelined until approximately June because of a torn meniscus he suffered in his right knee.

Franklin’s camp alerted MMAjunkie.com (http://www.mmajunkie.com) of the injury earlier today.

In the past 24 hours, Franklin’s fight manager, Monte Cox, alerted UFC officials of the injury, which was identified by a recent MRI exam.

That SUCKS!!!
What do you expect? The comedian is dead.

Honestly, can people just accept the fact that Anderson Silva got Franklins number.

I still think Rich is one of the best middleweights out there, and still is a great fighter. However, A.Silva has proved a good number of times why he is at the top, and rightfully so.

Anderson Silva is guy who really has proved himself by just crushing his opponents, all who are serious contenders, including Rich Franklin TWICE, yet, people don't give him the respect he deserves.

He is a very underrated fighter. When will people realize he is the man for a reason?

Well I was referring to Anderson Silva when I mentioned the train. I don't think we're underestimating him!!!

Haha I also think he's a bad ass fighter and 2 times better than Rich. No doubt about that.

Shit, I totally took it out of context. Sorry guys, I didn't read correctly. I do apologize, I don't want to seem like some off those touchy guys at the Sherdog forums.
