Houston Alexander

What does everyone think of this guy?

You know there was a mixture of emotions for me with him. He did eat Alessio and Keith Jardine (who did defeat Chuck Liddell in a convincing fashion), but lost to Thiago Silva (not taking nothing at all away from Thiago).

I thought he was a little overrated, but also saw something that could make him the next big thing.

Now, I don't know what to think.

He is robust, and seems to have some vicious and strong punching power.

I just wonder what else he can do. I'm not completely down on Houston, but I am not exactly too hopeful for him either.

I feel there's probably some potential for him as a great fighter. MAYBE.

What are your thoughts?

He should fight SOKOJOU next and then we will see which one can be a UFC fighter!
What do you expect? The comedian is dead.

He looks good in stand-up but like a amateur on the ground!

hehe

@topic you should add more option 'cause i can't choose between the displayed one............he's just too old for making any (essential) improvement on the ground game yet he's very strong in stand-up

What other option should I put? I was thinking of making another one, but I am not sure. Give me an idea, and I'll add another one. I want to.

Noup, he won't improve, he's a strong striker (more wrestler than striker) and a little old too to learn JJ...

He's a poster boy but not more than that, he'll just bring ppv buys. Nothing more.
Just a minor step back, we'll get over it

The Nebraskan Assassin has a mean stand-up game - we have seen that work and work well at his age (example The Iceman). He doesn't have to learn JJ he just needs to get himself a solid take down defense.
It's your father and I have been drinking!!
