Rocktagon MMA Adds Regional and National Championships to 2012 Schedule


Rocktagon MMA announced that they would kick off their 2012 season on January 21st in Cleveland, OH.

The season will run through August in seven additional states including California, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arizona, and Florida. The best fighters from each market will move on to Regional and National Championships and a chance to win an amateur National Title.

Rocktagon MMA is the only national amateur fight league in the country and therefore the only promotion able to offer a true amateur national title. Rocktagon MMA CEO James Jeda is excited about what this means for the fighters, “The championship series gives our fighters a platform to advance their careers from familiar venues close to their homes all the way to a possible shot at a National Title.

We plan to take the best of the best from local Rocktagon MMA events and give them a bid to the Regional and National Championships. Along the way, they will have the opportunity to build a national fan base, as an amateur, as well as gain the experience and skills necessary for a possible move to the professional level.
