Legacy Fighting Championship Signs Junior Assunção!
Legacy Fighting Championship is excited to announce that it has signed UFC veteran Junior Assunção to a multi-fight deal. Junior (13-5), a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has fought at lightweight and now competes at featherweight. He has fought the like of Dustin Hazelett, Kurt Pellegrino, Nate Diaz, Eddie Yagin, and is coming off of a loss to Ross Pearson. The loss to Pearson ended his 7fight win streak. Of his 13 wins, 2 have come by (T)KO and 7 by submission. Junior has two younger brothers who are mixed martial artists as well: Freddy and Raphael.
Legacy is happy to welcome Junior, and looks forward to seeing him in the cage. Don’t forget to join us on May 11 at the Houston Arena Theatre for Legacy Fighting Championship 11!
