ROUND 5 RELEASES “ULTIMATE COLLECTOR” SERIES 8 FEATURING CHAMPIONSHIP EDITIONS OF JON “BONES” JONES AND GEORGES “RUSH” ST-PIERRE


Round 5 President Damon Lau, announces the release of the “Ultimate Collector” Series 8 featuring updated versions of some of the UFC’s most popular fighters as well as all new characters hitting retail shelves this Christmas.

The “Ultimate Collector” Series 8 is anchored by a Championship Edition Jon “Bones” Jones commemorating his historic victory over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 128, and a Championship Edition Georges "Rush" St-Pierre honoring GSP’s victory over Matt Serra to regain his title at UFC 83.

Series 8 also includes a new version of former heavyweight titleholder Brock Lesnar, and Round 5 debut figures for reigning featherweight champion Jose Aldo, and heavyweight contender Roy “Big Country” Nelson.

“This Series has something for both our hardcore collectors as well as our more mainstream fans,” says Lau. “We’ve never included two Championship Editions in one Series before, but our fans requested these, and we were happy to oblige.”

As with previous “Ultimate Collector” Series releases, each figure in Series 8 arrives on shelves in protective UFC-themed packaging as well as a short bio detailing each fighter.

"Ultimate Collector" Series 8 will be available in December at Walmart and Zellers in Canada and FYE in the United States.

ROUND 5 RELEASES ULTIMATE COLLECTOR SERIES 9 FEATURING NICK DIAZ, DON “THE PREDATOR” FRYE, AND JASON “MAYHEM” MILLER


Round 5 President Damon Lau announces the release of the Ultimate Collector Series 9 featuring brand new fighters to the Round 5 collection, including two PRIDE tributes, and a Championship Edition available today.

The "Ultimate Collector" Series 9 is headlined by a limited edition debut of UFC and Pride great Don "The Predator" Frye, featuring his iconic mustache and American flag shorts. An exclusive UFC edition, limited to 750 pieces, commemorates Frye's championship run through the David and Goliath Tournament staged at UFC VIII. Each figure is individually numbered and wrapped in retro packaging that features an autograph from The Predator on the back.

Series 9 also marks the first Round 5 appearance by welterweight fan-favorite Nick Diaz. Series 9 will feature a standard Diaz figure, a limited edition PRIDE version, and a Diaz brother two-pack pairing Nick with his brother Nate Diaz.

In addition to Nick Diaz, Series 9 features the debuts of newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Ben "Smooth" Henderson, The Ultimate Fighter alumnus Chris "The Crippler" Leben, and Jason "Mayhem" Miller. Rounding out Series 9 is an updated Championship Edition of Cain Velasquez, paying tribute to his victory over Brock Lesnar at UFC 121 to claim the UFC heavyweight title.

“If I had to describe this Series in one word, it would be 'entertaining',” says Lau. “We've included some of the most colorful personalities in the sport in this release, as well as some past and present champions.”

As with previous Ultimate Collector Series releases, each figure in Series 9 arrives on shelves in protective UFC-themed packaging, containing a short bio detailing each fighter.

Round 5 Announces UFC Fan Expo® Exclusive Limited Edition Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz, and Cain Velasquez Collectible Figures


Markham, On (July 2nd, 2012) – Round 5 CEO Damon Lau reveals the company’s UFC Fan Expo® “Ultimate Collector” lineup, available exclusively at the UFC Fan Expo® July 5th & 6th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.


The Limited Edition “Ultimate Collector” figures based on Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz, and Cain Velasquez will be available for purchase for $35 each at the WalkoutWear booth (#7101) at the UFC Fan Expo®.

“This is Round 5’s largest UFC Fan Expo® release yet,” says Lau. “Our exclusives have sold out for three years straight, so when the collectors demanded more, we were happy to oblige with a stacked lineup of former and current champions.”


Round 5’s UFC Fan Expo® exclusive figures include:

Anderson "The Spider" Silva (UFC 117) -- Featuring UFC championship belt and signature Silver Star walkout gi from his epic win over Chael Sonnen at UFC 117. Only 1000 individually numbered units ever produced.

Anderson "The Spider" Silva (Pride 25) -- Featuring Pride packaging and gloves from his win over Carlos Newton at Pride 25. Only 500 individually numbered units ever produced.

Tito Ortiz (UFC 30) -- Featuring old school style UFC belt, UFC 30 specific retro packaging and Mexican walkout flag. Only 500 individually numbered units ever produced.

Due to the limited numbers and the trend of past UFC Fan Expo® exclusive offerings skyrocketing in value and collectability, Round 5 must limit the purchases to two sets of figures per attendee. Figures will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Lineups will form at 9 am, with the first products going on sale at 10am each day of the Expo.
