SUPERKOMBAT WGP 2012 Final - Fight Card Updates

The SuperKombat WGP Final on December 22 takes place in Bucharest, Romania. The event will feature a one night, four man tournament, consisting of fighters who qualified to the tournament from the Final Elimination on November 10.

The four fighters are Benjamin Adegbuyi, Sebastian Ciobanu, Ismael Londt and Pavel Zhuravlev. Ciobanu will face Londt on one side of the tournament, and on the other side, Adegbuyi will face Zhuravlev. The winner of the tournament will be crowned the SuperKombat World Grand Prix 2012 champion. Sergei Lascenko was last year's winner.

Superkombat announced today that K-1 veterans Hesdy Gerges, Zabit Samedov, Freddy Kemayo, Sergei Lascenko, Raul Catinas and SuperKombat veteran Daniel Sam will also be on the December 22nd card.

After 4 WGP Qualification events and the Final Elimination, SUPERKOMBAT 2012 season will end with the big final, scheduled on December 22nd in the capital of Romania, Bucharest.

SUPERKOMBAT WGP 2012 Final in association with K-1 will be held by the biggest sports hall from Romania, the Polyvalent Hall “Ioan Kunst Ghermanescu” which seats 5.500 people. Because the K-1 WGP 2012 Final 8 has been postponed for early 2013, a part of the finalists will be in Bucharest on December 22nd.

In the tournament, where the big prize is a brand-new Mitsubishi Pajero car, Sebastian Ciobanu will fight against Ismael Londt and Benjamin Adegbuyi will face “The Caiman” Pavel Zhuravlev.

The event will be broadcasted live via Eurosport International and Eurosport Asia-Pacific in more than 75 countries from 4 continents starting with 9PM CET (Central European Time) and in Romania via Sport.ro starting with 10PM EET (Eastern European Time). Tickets can be purchased from eventim.ro network, Germanos, Orange and Vodafone stores in Romania.
