Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett

Postby Make_Believe_Muscle » Thu Feb 07, 2008 10:29 am

What do you think of him and how he represents the sport?

I have mixed feelings for him. I must admit, I LOVE watching him because though isn't the most technically sound fighter whatsoever, he always puts on an exciting fight, and you never know what he'll do next. Plus, I seriously believe he has one the most vicious slams, and craziest right hooks, and has got some great natural strength and athletic ability.

He's very spontaneous and that keeps people on the edge of his seat wondering what hes thinking off.

However, as a representative, he is without the worst candidate. I don't want to sound uptight, because I love having fun as much as the next person, however, the problem with Krazy Horse is that he just seems not to take MMA seriously, doesn't take his opponents seriously, his training seriously, and he never shows sportsmanship. Everything is a big joke to him, and he is clearly in it for his on personal agenda.

He wants to take up acting, which is not a problem by any means, but the way he uses MMA as a stepping stone is rather disrespectful in my opinion to MMA.

For example, during the Gina Carano and Julie Kedzie bout, he comes down the ramp, on his cell phone, and starts walking around the octagon, laying on the floor, slipping, sliding, and pulling all these other antics. I thought that was wrong and he was being disrespectful to the two fighters in the ring, and being a sideshow for his on purpose. During a great fight I might add.

Now that MMA is breaking into the mainstream everyday, new fans will look at him and think its all a joke, and that they can act like idiots as well. Then again, I'm getting far ahead of myself, because not everyone is like Krazy Horse.

However, I still stand by what I say, and think he is somewhat a little disrespectful to MMA. In the end I love watching him and can't help but be entertained by him, but he also gets under my skin because he just doesn't take MMA serious. It's great to have fun, and be colorful, but I think he should be more respectful to MMA if he's going to participate in it.

What do you think about him?

I would also like to add that if he took his training serious, and ACTUALLY trained, and not BS all the time, then he can maybe become a serious contender.

Sure that guy is exciting to watch but he is a thug criminal...........I think he is in jail as we speak.

And yea that shit he pulled during the Carano fight was classless.

I would like to also state I am not a fan either, but I have a guilty pleasure of having a liking to seeing him act stupid.

However, he is indeed a classless criminal thug in my opinion as well as many others.

I hate it when some people compare him to Rampage. In my opinion, Rampage is a FAR beyond Krazy Horse, and is MUCH, MUCH classy. Though he is a character himself, he doesn't disrespect MMA at all.
