Crytek Brings Acclaimed Free-to-Play FPS Warface: 360 Edition to Xbox 360
Crytek and Microsoft Studios have announced that the award-winning PC title, Warface, will arrive on consoles for the first time on Xbox 360 in early 2014. True to its pedigree, ‘Warface: 360 Edition’ for Xbox 360 will feature vivid graphics and gameplay for intense, first-person shooter action. With regular content updates to keep the experience fresh, Warface enables players to join the front line in competitive and cooperative mission battles with others from around the world. Featuring four distinct soldier classes and special team-based actions, the game places a unique emphasis on joining forces with friends to succeed in battle.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Crytek to introduce this award-winning PC franchise to a console audience for the very first time,” said Phil Spencer, corporate vice president, Microsoft Studios. “Our relationship with one of the world’s most talented developers continues to grow, as we bring ‘Ryse: Son of Rome’ to Xbox One, and ‘Warface: 360 Edition’ to Xbox 360.”
A new ‘Warface: 360 Edition’ trailer released today showcases the near-future world of Warface and introduces the elite Team Warface soldiers as they battle the ruthless Blackwood military force.
‘Warface: 360 Edition’ will be available on Xbox 360 as a free-to-play with Gold title1.
