There has been plenty of buzz online lately regarding Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy are in talks with Bob Arum and Top Rank for a possible super fight between
Canelo Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao in 2014.
According to reports De La Hoya has no ill will against Arum and would like to work with Top Rank to make some big fights happen. The same reports are stating that Arum has no problem with De La Hoya and is open to working with him and Golden Boy.
Pacquiao just avenged his loss to Timothy Bradley by beating him in an unanimous decision bout.
Canelo, has a fight July 12th against WBA junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara.
If Canelo can beat Lara, it would be perfect timing to set up this super fight as Pac-man has no opponent for his next fight which is scheduled for September.
