Middleweight prospect Uriah Hall is back in action at UFC 175

Ultimate Fighter season 17 finalist Uriah Hall will look to follow up his UFC 168 win over Chris Leben last December with another victory in Las Vegas when he takes on Brazil's Thiago "Marreta" Santos in a verbally agreed to bout at UFC 175 on July 5. The first round TKO of Leben marked the first UFC win of Hall's career, and while he's hungry for more, "Marreta" has some serious momentum of his own, having stopped Ronny Markes in just 53 seconds on March 23.

A shuffle to which UFC President Dana White recently alluded is now official, and a highly anticipated matchup between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva now takes place July 5 in Las Vegas at UFC 175, while Junior dos Santos vs. Stipe Miocic replaces that fight as the headliner for May’s UFC Fight Night 42 in Brazil. White today revealed the moves to Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports though an exact reason for the moves wasn’t given.

UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will attempt to successfully defend her title for the fourth time on Saturday, July 5, when she faces off with Alexis Davis in the co-main event of UFC 175 in Las Vegas. The bout, part of International Fight Week, will pit the unbeaten Rousey - fresh off her first round stoppage of Sara McMann in February - against Canada's Davis, a jiu-jitsu black belt who is unbeaten in three UFC starts against Rosi Sexton, Liz Carmouche, and Jessica Eye.

Struve vs. Mitrione is set for UFC 175 this July.

Out of action since March of 2013, Stefan Struve will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon on Saturday, July 5, when he faces Matt Mitrione in a heavyweight bout to take place on the UFC 175 card at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Winner of four of his last five, Struve was sidelined as a precautionary measure due to the discovery of a rare heart condition, but after following doctors' treatment, he was cleared to resume his fighting career, and this summer he will meet Mitrione, who has won two of his last three, most recently a first round knockout of Shawn Jordan in March. Also added to the UFC 175 card, which takes place during International Fight Week, is a middleweight bout between newcomer Guilherme Vasconcelos and Luke Zachrich, and a welterweight bout pitting Ildemar Alcantara vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio.

The California Kid and Bruce Leroy meet in Las Vegas this summer.

After requesting a showdown with longtime bantamweight contender Urijah Faber, Alex "Bruce Leroy" Caceres will get his wish, as he meets "The California Kid" at UFC 175 in Las Vegas on July 5th. Unbeaten in five straight, including a Fight of the Night win over Sergio Pettis in January, Caceres will be taking a significant step up in facing Faber, the former WEC featherweight boss who has won four of his last five, three by submission.

Updates to the UFC 175 and UFC Fight Night Dublin cards.

Despite a reported change to the bout yesterday, the middleweight fight between Bruno Santos and Chris Camozzi will remain on the UFC 175 card on July 5 in Las Vegas. Trevor Smith, who had agreed to fight in Santos’ place, will now fight Tor Troeng in Dublin on July 19.
