Andrei Stoica vs. Horace Martin for the Superkombat Super Cruiserweight Title on June 21st
Superkombat super cruiserweight champion Andrei Stoica will defend for the first time his belt on June 21st at Superkombat World Grand Prix. Confirmed as an headlining of the event, broadcasted live by Eurosport, the Romanian superstar will face Horace “Boy Boy” Martin from Jamaica, a former WAKO Pro world champion.
Called “The Black Octopus”, the 28 years old fighter based in Netherlands and coached by Fred Royers, Martin is determined to take advantage in Stoica’s homeland and to insert himself one the top of world kickboxing scene. “I’ve watched last fights of Andrei Stoica and now is my big chance to make a huge step. Is vulnerable and I know how to stop it. The belt it’s mine on June 21 at Superkombat World Grand Prix.”, was the threat of Horace “Boy Boy” Martin with less than three weeks before the fight.
With an impressive background in Superkombat®, Andrei Stoica became the world champion last year, in December, after he demolished Ondrej Hutnik from Czech Republic, a fighter undefeated in last 5 years. Even he lost his last fight with Danyo Ilunga, Stoica has regroup and is still confidend, announcing that he will remain in the top of super cruiserweight division.
“I don’t care about his record. I respect him as a fighter, but in the ring just one of us will be the winner and the name is Stoica. It’s an affair of honour and it’s my duty to win.”, said the fighter representing Respect Gym and known also as “Mister KO” after he scored 21 wins before the limit.
