This is great news Kevin. I look forward to your next fight. Here's another couple of questions for you.
Will your training change a lot once you know who you're opponent is? I know in Japan a lot of the time you can get given opponents on short notice as opposed to say the UFC where usually a match is set and 2 fighters train for each other for 3-5 months. Do you just work you're core MMA game and maybe do a bit more specific training when you find out the opponent?
At least you know about the Monson fight so you can basically prepare for that and see who you get. That's a fight you can definitely win with takedowns, sub defence and superior striking and ground & pound. Good luck with that.
Also, how important is your corner to you in a fight. Sometimes for a joke, my friends discuss who would be their dream corner in a fight. It's always like BJ Penn or Randy for instructions and Mark Coleman to shout them out. Ha - Mark could always be heard in your corner in Pride ("KEV! DO THIS! KEV! WATCH THAT!). Seemed like a good guy to have in your corner.
Take it easy.
