EliteXC Primetime Weigh-Ins to be Open to the Public

The weigh-ins for EliteXC "Primetime" are open to the public. Here's the info for those heading out.

What: EliteXC "Primetime" Weigh-ins
When: Friday May 30th @ 2pm ET
Where: Prudential Center 165 Mulberry Street Newark, NJ 07102

Misc: The Prudential Center is 2 blocks from Newark Penn Station . It will be held outdoors in the 75 degree weather. Come one, come all.

All fighters** successfully made weight and are ready for tomorrow night’s show, which is set to air live on CBS. Pro Elite will be streaming preliminary fights live before the CBS broadcast begins.

**Gina Carano, contracted to fight Kaitlin Young at a weight of 140 pounds, weighed in at 144.5 pounds. Since the bout is not a title fight, it will be allowed to take place, but Carano will have to forfeit 12.5 percent of her purse to Young as a penalty.

Young should just refuse to fight and make an example out of Carano's inept attempts to make weight lately. This is a huge chance for MMA and the fighters on the card and Carano once again not making weight is a disappointment.
