I don't watch much fights but to stay in shape for cardio, how many miles a week do you run?
Thanks

GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN!
Yes I am planning on training at other gyms besides Xtreme Couture’s. I am also opening my own gym in the fall in Columbus, Ohio. I will be going back and forth but primarily training in Vegas because I get my best training here in Vegas. To me the best fighters train in Vegas. There are more champions and fighters with victories sleeping tonight in Vegas than in any other state in America.
If you follow these steps you will lose the 20 pounds without a problem.
1. Obviously the key to losing weight is watching your diet. YOU MUST WATCH your diet, chicken! Oatmeal in the morning, maybe some wheat bread in the afternoon. Stay away from most bread though and get your carbohydrates from your vegetables. Chicken in the evening.
2. Go to the gym and get a plastic suit. Don’t get trash bags and put arms and legs in them!! Get a real sauna suit. You will also need these pieces of clothing when you go to the gym:
-Socks, shoes, SAUNA SUIT, shorts, t shirt, sweatshirt with a hood and some sweatpants. Preferably something that matches. Don’t go to the gym looking all funky!
3. Take all of that gear into the sauna with you. Sit in there for 5 to 10 minutes until you start sweating. Do some shadow boxing or jumping jacks to speed up the sweating. Now put on your shorts, t shirt, you should have the SAUNA SUIT on already, stay another 10 minutes and make the suit work like an incubator for you.
4. Now put your sweatsuit on, your hood, your shoes and socks. Go out into the gym and ride the bike for an hour because you need to know how much weight you can lose in an hour and a half with that suit on.
5. Take the next day off.
6. The following day take 1 gallon of water with you and stay in the sauna for atleast a half hour but don’t kill yourself! Nothing wrong with drinking water because you are going to lose it faster than you can drink it. If you can drink some electrolytes before you go into the sauna. Again follow the steps and ride the bike again for an hour. If you get too hot take a break but don’t take off the SAUNA SUIT.
7. When you are done and take off those clothes check your weight and see how much you have lost. Calculate how much you lost with how much water you drank.
8. Go home eat some chicken and egg whites. You should have lost 10 pounds that second day.
9. The next morning check your weight and adjust the above times accordingly.
10. If you have any specific questions to your experience email me at info@KevinRandleman.com
If I go to the gym I do 4 miles on the stair climber at level 10 everyday. If I am just running I run 3 miles everyday. If you are just training than 6 days a week for either one but if you have a fight coming up than you should do EVERYDAY! Depending on your weight but if you are at light heavy weight you should be doing the 4 miles on the stair climber in no more than 40 minutes.
YES, yes it is!
I am easy to please because I like to fight. It doesn’t matter who I fight for because I am going to paid well for my effort. I just want to fight and fight whoever is number 1 before I retire. And I got a long time before I retire.
I don’t think the layoff affected me at all because I still fought and I am a fighter. I might have been slower but I tore my shoulder so the whole fight had to change. I was in great shape even though it might not have looked like it. I had to change the strategy of the fight on a whim. It was a mental fight for me because of the shoulder but I was in great shape. As far as my reception by the Japanese fans. They treated me like a celebrity and I signed a lot of autographs and took a lot of pictures. I enjoyed every minute of it.
Forrest Griffin is the CHAMPION! I have never had anything negative to say about Forrest and he is a good champion for the sport. This goes back to the cardio question. If you run every fucking day you will have the chance to win because you will be able to keep the pressure on during the whole fight. Forrest Griffin ran everyday in training and that is why he won that fight. He wanted to. Training is FUN!
I love all my fans that message in with whatever but you guys have no idea how much more important you are than we are. We fight but you guys enjoy it and you are the reason why fighters get paid. THANK YOU and I appreciate your support!
So until the 24th of July PEACE!!
Can't wait till September.
Are you planning on training at any other camps besides XCouture?

Is your postponed fight with Monson still going to happen?
YES, yes it is!
How do you like fighting with the new organization?

How was your reception when you returned to Japan and how did the long layoff effect you in the fight?
I don’t think the layoff affected me at all because I still fought and I am a fighter. I might have been slower but I tore my shoulder so the whole fight had to change.
